Hail storm OKC - Hail of a storm! Just "lovely May weather" in Oklahoma City May 16, 2010

Yessireesir, that was a beast. A little wimpy hailfall last week pretty much a year lataer. And finally getting the last vestiges back to par. Dishnet HD has been lamo since the may storm last year. They finally got so lame I called to get them to fix their antenae. And they proudly proclaim it will cost a minimun of $95.00 to get a tech to come look at it. Cox is supposed to be out this week. Car was totalled, New roof took a couple of dayze. Thanks for the video.

I parked the Blazer across the way at the East end right up against that building (storm was coming from the west) and it was fine - got a couple of small dents but nothing major ... and windows were fine.

Yes -- I was shooting thru the window -- but there is a balcony over the window so there was no danger of it getting busted out - except if it was a tornado ... but I had two local stations on two TVs so I knew that there were no funnels imminent. The wind was strong but I've seen it blow harder than that here before ... unfortunately.

We had that this moring and it almost broke my bedroom window out...I woke up at 6:00 in da morning to it. We also had thunder and POURING rain. Thats the price of living in Oklahoma. But I think its worth it.

FYI - I've called Meteorologists "mediaurologists" for years - because they are usually wrong with their weather forecasts - (probably the only job where you can be wrong so often and still keep your job) ... and they work in the media but don't know dick ... ;)
