Second that. To be honest, for me, season 8 crushed my shipper heart and slapped me in the face more than once. Jay and Hailey's love story deserved much better than what we got, but that's just me. At least now, I have very low expectations for season 9, so the cold hard ground beneath me won't hurt me anymore than it has.

She shuts him out every time things get tough, same thing used to happen with Erin and now her. Jay is the best guy out there, he opens up he talks through his problems, he never let his personal issues get in their way. I hope he gets his happy ending but the way things have been with him throughout this entire series, and they way hailey is going down the same road voight is. I'm scared that he is gonna get his heart broken once again and this time, if that happens, it won't be good. Everyone has their breaking point and this will be his.

Wow... you guys are harsh. 😂 I think she's a great actress. She was great in FBI. I think she's a mini-Voight, honestly. And she has some issues she hasn't faced. I love their friendship, but I don't like them together. Which is funny because I couldn't wait for them to get together when they weren't. Now, I don't think she's ready for a relationship. Her proposal to him was for all the wrong reasons and I think if they marry now its going to destroy them.

@@whistwhistler5143 I never said I was an expert. I did study psychology though. I understand her trauma from her childhood. All I'm saying is that she hasn't dealt with that trauma. And if you truly think about how she has reacted in her relationships, with both Ruzek and Jay, you will see what I mean. That girl is damaged and she isn't dealing with it. She's coping. Which isn't the same. If you've been watching the show than you know exactly why she proposed to Jay. It wasn't for the right reasons. She's feeling desperate and cornered and has an unhealthy dependency on Jay. If they marry like this she's going to put a responsibility on him that just isn't right or fair to him. And it will destroy them. And if you take a moment and stop being so defensive you'd see what I'm saying. I think she needs to work on herself before she marries Jay. He has enough of his own issues with PTSD to help carry hers when she's not trying to truly carry them herself.
