@@dhinton1 I know its only a TV show but the relationships in Chicago P.D are some of the most well written I've seen in any TV show. They have real emotion and weight, they aren't childish and slap dash like Manning and Halstead in Med. Its genuinely impressive to capture the relationships between all the characters, the brotherhood of Ruzek and Atwater and the Father Son relationships between Voight and Halstead also stand out to me. Kudos to the writers!

What I've interpret from this show is that with Erin, Jay was completely infatuated with her in the beginning. But with Hailey, their relationship started to build from being partners, they started caring for each other. And without them realizing it, the caring led to love, so deep that they want the other person to be happy, even if it doesn't involve them. So, as much as I was a fan of Erin and Jay in the first few season, I'm hardcore Hailey and Jay fan. I want them to be endgame.

This kiss was perfect! Note that they have not yet told each other that they love each other. The producers said it would be slow-burn. For now, in my opinion, apart from this kiss, nothing will happen (sexually) between them, and only later will we see such a true declaration. But for me, this kiss was great - the passion can be overrated, the more so as it is often portrayed in one banal way - the couple lunges at each other and 'eats' each other faces. In this kiss, you could see real, mature love, longing, including yes, passion, but mature - notice how Jay does not stop kissing Hailey after the first, initial kiss, but he kisses her again at the very end, and hold her tightly when the kiss is shown from a different profile. Ugh, they're perfect!

I don't even know what to say about this scene... from the anxious looks, the smiles, the nervousness, the script and the performance of Tracy and Jesse, it was all perfect!!! This long walk of 3 years here was finally worth it, years freaking out and waiting for this kiss!!! They really love each other a lot, and they both suffered a lot in their lives so they were too scared to take the next step, but their passion for each other overcame the fear and here we are, enjoying this wonderful scene!!!
