I loved the premise of How to Be Eaten! And also was annoyed by the ending. Love your videos and your energy. Your recs have been spot on and I've discovered a lot of awesome books here.

Awesome! Wondering if you would like “ The Lost Bookshop” got it on skip the line. Two timelines, a bit of mystery, women supporting women to offset certain injustices. Love the balance and vibe it left me with. Definitely a bit of good for her. Thank you Hailey! Definitely need your recs to keep my list filled.

I agree with you about the violence with guns in a school setting in Off the Deep End. Things like that are a sensitive topic to me, too... my younger sisters were in a school shooting years ago so this topic is not one I like to visit in books - ESPECIALLY when I feel it is handled poorly imo. I got that book for Christmas last year not knowing that gun violence within a school would be brought up even, and it was unfortunately just handled in a way that made me feel uncomfortable.

I TOTALLYYYYY agree with your thoughts on Off the Deep End. It felt like she was trying to include too many tropes or trends in it and it felt too all over the place
