Hey Hailey, I’m such a big fan of your channel (these videos especially), and while I admire your work ethic, don’t forget to take time off! If you’re sick, busy at the bookstore, have family in town, are celebrating the holidays, or pieces of the video just aren’t coming together - that’s more than enough of a reason to not film! You truly shine in videos when you’re stoked about the books and not exhausted. This year I was also so spoiled by my parents :) I received a Michael Kors bag, two pairs of snow gloves, $100 Barnes and Noble Gift Card which was put to great use and finally a brand new bookshelf. I was definitely extremely fortunate this Christmas

I never really get books for Christmas since I buy myself so many and nobody knows what I already have! I never thought to send my mom my amazon/book outlet wish list. That is a good idea. I did end up getting 2 books for Christmas though; The Looking Glass Wars from my friend, because I am also obsessed with Alice in Wonderland and it is her favorite retelling. The other book I got is called The Witches of New York, from my sister. Super excited to read them both! Glad you had such a good Christmas!

I’m unsure of how often you read retellings, but you did mention reading Everland in your 2017 summer readings. And since that’s a Peter Pan retelling, and you said you love Peter Pan, i’d be SO HAPPY if you read Lost Girl by Chanda Hahn. It’s my favorite Peter Pan retelling.

i think Hailey might be on PR lists for some publishers and is sent a catalogue of forthcoming books to choose from; since she's both a book KZbinr and works at a large book store, she obviously "advertises" to a broad audience when she likes a book :) I don't think that's possible for people without a large audience, but I would also be interested in a video if it were :D
