Women's tees what are those? My parents got me women's golf clubs when I was highschool and I hit a drive on the first hole par 4 almost to the green.. beginners luck I guess. I never hit one like that ever again.

Since when did the tips just become the plain old blue tees? When I grew up playing golf, the tips meant teeing off as far back as possible on every tee box regardless of where the tee markers are set.

For every professional tour player the tee to green game of tens of thousands of amateurs is equal or better. What the tour pros do very much better is maneuver on and around the putting surface and in decision making.
