This girl is as country as you can get. She is so overlooked on radio. The Highway on satellite plays her but never hear her on my regular channels. She's cute & refreshing & her music makes you smile & sing along. So talented.

Sometimes it takes country radio a while to add songs that The Highway spotlights. It's taken Morgan Wade the better part of a year with "Wilder Days," which is only now starting to gather momentum on mainstream country stations, same for Mitchell Tenpenny's "Truth About You." This song is so different from anything on country radio now, but I'm still hoping it catches on, maybe during the fall or winter when the demand for uptempo beach and beer songs is reduced.

Quick story behind it: Prairie High School in Iowa is right next to a farm where it smells very strongly of cow manure in the summer. I learned from the band director that the larger schools in the area called it that because it was a smaller schools that smelled like cow poop, but now it's one of the largest schools with a state of the art music wing. Proud to have graduated from Cow Pie High! 😆
