She gives her sponsors visibility on many different platforms and that is more important that winning. Let’s face it guys, the primary reason Deegan is in an Xfinity car is mostly because she’s kinda cute, she knows where the gas pedal is and she’s got bigger boobs than the rest of the drivers. I’m not saying that Deegan is a bad driver however there’s more to racing than just driving. Just like others in the past her marketing value will diminish and her racing deficiencies will become too costly, then she will likely fade away.

In that year, Deegan competed in all six SRX races along with six other drivers, those being defined as points-eligible drivers. They were the drivers competing for the SRX championship. Among those seven drivers, Deegan finished NUMBER-LAST; that is, she finished LAST in the 2023 SRX championship. You do have one thing right: same old, same old. So if she has proven anything is SRX competition, it’s that she’s number-last among seasoned vets - and Marco Andretti !!

@@user-if8nz2yo5n - Fine. If she does, she does. But don’t hold your breath. She didn’t ever make any inroads in the Truck Series, even though she was with a championship caliber team. Female drivers will have their polishers regardless of how skilled they actually are. With Deegan here, for instance, she had one Xfinity race in her life, finished 13th, and her fanboys were proclaiming she was ready to advance based on that one performance. Think about it - that’s tantamount to saying that since one black guy committed a murder that all black guys are murderers. Deferential treatment of females is understandable. It’s in large part the Sir Galahad Syndrome that is especially prevalent in Western culture, but it’s too often taken to extremes. BTW, if you feel you just must find a girl to cheer for, check out Toni Breidinger in the ARCA series if you want to see one that’s steadily improving and starting to compete at the front. She has a quality team (Venturini) behind her, so this year could well start contending for wins.

For the most part I've enjoyed her attitude towards the sport. She is far more likable than "DP" was. She's much tamer than she was in ARCA as well. I watched her race in Vegas and she was an animal :) .. Hopefully she'll get her spark back and find some more time upfront instead of out back getting involved with the wrecks. There's a few women in ARCA (and Truck on and off) that have some real possibilities too.

This is such a chauvinistic view. She was killing it in the ARCA series before going to the trucks, but most people don't know that. Coming from racing a car to racing a truck is such a huge change, for anybody! Trucks roll and track so different than the cars, the downforce on the trucks makes it track way different and the center of gravity is different. Once she gets comfortable in the car, she'll start showing how talented she really is. Really the only good thing I saw out of running the trucks is quality seat time on the tracks. And if you go back and look when she was running ARCA, some of the boys she was racing against are now racing in the Xfinity series. And I'm gonna say, Hailie is no Danica, she has natural ability. Danica should've never left Indy car.

Telemetry from the Atlanta race showed she was driving the car to 100%, AM racing is a newer team and they don't have multiple cars to figure out what works best at every track like the big teams that have been around for decades do. Any finish in the top 20 is good for that team, anything in the top 15 is great, Deegan does best at 1.5 mile and short tracks so I'd expect that to be where she finds success first not at a super speedway which is mostly about luck and hooking up to a teammate which she doesn't have. I watched her win a championship in off-road trucks where driving skill matters alot, anyone writing her off is a moron... I'm not saying she'll be a champion by any means but she's shown time and time again she can drive with anyone just look at how well she'd battle with Nascar legends in SRX, so the skills are there she got screwed by her pit crew in the truck series so many times it wasn't funny. I'd give her 3 seasons in xfinity before writing her off. The greatest driver in Nascar history struggled before moving to the cup series, I was a Johnson fan when he was stinking it up in the Busch series before everyone jumped on a fan bus after he started winning in cup

When she was in the K&N series, it was not ARCA. Her success there was due to her intentionally wrecking other drivers. The final straw was when she intentionally wrecked her own teammate, Derek Krause, to get the win for herself. Toyota/TRD finally pulled the plug and dropped her from their racing program. Daddy Deegan begged Ford Motorsports to give her a 2nd chance opportunity, and she's botched that too. ARCA series, she bombed there also. Since joining the NASCAR big leagues, she hasn't accomplished squat. The stats/facts don't lie, but her SIMPS damn sure do.

Danica 7 times on the Indy Cars series podium including a win and led 124 laps. NASCAR, she won the pole position for 2013 Daytona 500 and led 133 laps in that series. FACT: she was better in NASCAR than the previous 118 female drivers since 1949. None better since her either.

​@@sergeantmasson3669"winning" a pole position sounds off.. she earned that pole fair and square, but she couldnt lead the pack. Sure she had talent, but if it was her trying to show off that talent too hard, or if it was NASCAR to blame for moving her up/allowing her to race in the big leagues too fast.. either way it wasnt enough for top tier finishes, and we all know it she couldnt blame her car/team for her own failure to deliver.
