@@indiarose2963 Hi India,I don’t know your situation or about your dad. All I can say is, if he has disappointed or hurt you, try your best to forgive him. My dad left me, my mum and my sister when I was 7 years old. Initially, I just blocked him out of my life. It was only when I got older and was about to become a dad myself, that I realised that I had a lot of hurt and pain in my heart. A few people who didn’t know me that well said I should forgive him….It was so hard. I remember one day in my room just saying, “Dad I forgive you “ . I said it over and over again. …Then the tears came and twenty years of hurt came pouring out. I then reached out to him ( he was in Canada and I’m Uk based). It wasn’t easy, I had to forgive him again and again over the years as some of the stuff he said and didn’t say, hurt me deeply. Eventually, we got to the point where we would talk every week and just laugh about politics and life. He died in 2009. I was at his bedside. I am blessed because for some reason, my strongest memories of him are good ones. The healing of my relationship with him made me a better Dad. So I just wanted to share this to encourage you. In any relationship all you can control is what you do. The rest is out of your hands. Hope your relationship with your dad becomes the best it can be, and just as important, if it isn’t, that you can be at peace about it. God bless you

When the camera changes angles and focuses on the green shirted girl on the left, the angle is subtly dutched and aiming upward, probably to compensate for her height, compared to the taller girl on the right. I think this is the point where my breast fills with pride for her as I see her as a fully mature woman and not a girl “playing at” womanhood. The effect is only strengthened by the common street clothes. She is not wearing the show-person’s garb, masking her identity. She is appearing precisely as she is, and the audience becomes directly privy to her magnificence. Towards the end, these feelings only increase and are multiplied by three as the worms eye retreating dolly grants them stature appropriate to their accomplishment. How proud should their parents be? Very proud indeed.

At a stretch, I guess the way they sing is a little Corrs/Ani Difranco-y...but I just can't get past how 80s it sounds (with a bit of 70s funk in there too) - in fact Forever sounds *just* like "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'". I'd say it sounds more similar to like 90s Folk/Easy Listening, if anything. It also sounds quite modern, like a little bit similar to that mid/late-2000s Wonky Pop trend. There is something about the simplicity of this “choreography” that is mesmerizing..... great song, beautiful voices, and love the video....

It's hard to look away from one long take. Total respect for hitting your marks and limiting the screw ups. Opposed to a video that flashes 5,000 different scenes in 3 minutes, takes a week to make and millions of dollars. I'll take simplicity any day.

I really dig this video.... its simple but grabs your attention and keeps it fixed upon it right through. I've watched a few vids of Haim interviews over the last few days and they come across as a very likeable trio, its almost impossible not to like them. What is also evident is their talent though...which is probably the most important thing...however it does help that they are all attractive too! lol. Their sound, their harmonies with one another particularly with this song remind me of Wilson Philips or even the Mamas and the Papas ...I'm not sure if that would overly impress them much lol. Anyway they have a new fan here!

I stole my friends girlfriend a couple of weekends ago (I know, a shitty thing to do but what can you do). The final click happened when this song was playing, our eye contact told us both we had to have sex that night. We sneaked from the party and I took her to the most scenic beach view you could imagine. We went into the water and had each other all night, passionate deep love making under the moonlit sky. I get shivers even thinking about it. Memories...
