I honestly love this transition. She went from being the young, heartbroken girl who cried anytime she performed this live to now being the empowered woman smiling in the recording booth because she FINALLY reclaimed a part of her life that definitely shaped her who she is as a person now. I am just discovering TS and I am truly blown away. 68 years old and listening to her makes me feel the emotions of a much younger man. I grew up in the generation of Don McClean "American Pie". A really long song and famous for its notoriety and how it dominated the airwaves for one particular summer of days gone by. And her is this amazing 1o minute composition filled with emotions, longing, young love (of someone much older) disbelief, confusion, shattered, broken and it is longer than American Pie. I agree. I love Red, and All Too Well will forever be my favorite tswift song. But I think because the album was sort of all over the place in terms of genre was maybe the reason?
