Great video... as always. The lack of storage in that version of the reverse herringbone, the small amount of usb ports and the foot rest not installed or broken. Is that the fault of boeing or Hainan Air. Other vlogers show different airlines with that seat set up and they seem to have more storage and computer options. Just want to see is it up to the airline to option the seat package out more or less?

Gabriel Goltz the plane manufacturer only delivers the plan and do a an example seat setup in their plane showcases. In the end it’s up to the airline how they design the inner of the plane, if they wanted they could put one seat in the middle of the plane and nothing else. Always depends on how much the airline wants to invest in the interior. Also the b787 isn’t really the best plane to fly with hainan airlines, the best is A330 as they got more comfortability all in all then the b787.

The catering looks much better than Cathay Pacific! Even with Cathay Pacific's new business class dining concept where they plate the main course restaurant style, they are still using trays.

No I am correct... the route the drone is following is leading down Suzhou River, heading towards Huangpu River, which I did mention in my comment, “Leading” down. My facts are solid bud... I lived next to the river lol. I’m also talking about the second shot.... not the first...(still the beginning in my eyes) with the old broadway Mansions hotel on the left.

Unfortunately, Hainan is still alternating their configurations on most of their long haul routes and they always change aircraft prior to departure.

The new 1-2-1 business class is confined and clusterphobic, I avoid them often trying to fly on the old 2-2-2 configuration which is very spacious and comfortable.

A suggested correction, Porter Airlines flies Bombardier Q400 not DHC-6 Twin Otters from Newark to Billy Bishop Airport.

Good review. Hainan look very good no wonder they get 5 stars. Good also they let you board first for filming. I do not like the colour scheme of the cabin, too white, but the FA outfits are great, very stylish for male and female
