Just washed my hair for the first time after doing a Botox. I did it at home using Nutree. WOW is all I could say. My hair reverted immediately so no straight pieces. I have a lot of different textures and all stayed true to their behavior except everything was just easier to manage. It was as if I deep conditioned for two days but without the mushiness. Super manageable and soft. Took less product to do my hair as well and it barely frizzed at all. Love it and will be doing it again when this wears off!

OMG! That is amazing! I've spent so much time looking for something more natural that I could do at home! I'll definitely try it once this 2nd treatment wears off.

Nutree didn't do anything to my hair. It's so expensive for the size and the length of my hair. I literally used the whole container in ONE USE. Glad it did work for u, but I am looking for another options

@@TheBigpapax30 My hair is shoulder length so it I didn’t need much, but I just switched to having my hair stylist do it instead. I hope you find something that works!

could you just use it as a deep conditioner then? i think it says to blow dry and flat iron after but if your hair doesn't stay straight after washing maybe the heat can be skipped?

Having the best of both worlds is amazing but living in Florida and having this hair is even more amazing. In the summer time you can have it curly because of the humidity and in the winter you can have it straight. Where has all this stuff been for the last 20 yrs. What I really enjoyed was all the research I did prior to doing the keratin treatment on my natural hair and I love the results. Your hair looks great!

Your hair is dramatically less curly. I’m curious about long term. I did Brazilian blow out. My curls were loosened and became big bouncy from tighter. I loved it then my hair eventually broke off and stayed shoulder length for a while like 2 yrs

Thank you so much for uploading a follow up. I have done a keratin treatment before and my curls looked like yours in the after. My front area had pieces that appeared straight as that area has a looser curl but I found that over time I had to gradually trim because I experienced non stop split ends/breakage but that’s possibly because I used hair dye a month after. I say all that to say please keep us posted on your hair and also if you have to do touch ups to your roots.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. I did Keratin and saw the same results as you, as I continued getting treatments curls eventually started to disappear to the point of "stringy" curls. My hope with Botox is that curls, although looser, would stay the same over time rather than continue to disappear.

An update I’ve done 2 treatments myself, I’ll do my third when i take my braids out. I’m a superrrrr fan of this treatment. My frizz has reduced greatly and my hair is stronger but i haven’t noticed any change in my curl pattern at all….i don’t flat iron my hair with the product in it tho…i rinse it out completely and then flat iron.

How much did your cost hair Botox and when your hair is in natural state do u need curl creams
@honestlifetalk11382 жыл бұрын
Hello! The cost of the treatment at the salon was a couple hundreds (initially under $200 but later over $300 -increased for no apparent reason). My hair required creams / styling products prior to and after the treatment. The purpose of the treatment was to easy my routine and have the styles look better for longer.

Do you feel like it made your hair appear stronger? I planned to do this as my protein treatment before a long term protective style so i am hoping for smoothing, moisture and strengthening.
@honestlifetalk11383 жыл бұрын
Hi! My hair definitely looks/feels more lustrous and moisturized. I did the chemical treatment at the salon rather than the at home version. As with most chemical treatments, hair strands look/feel thinner after the treatment compared to prior to the treatment. I have not seen any breakage though. Also, manipulating the hair is now more gentle due to the hair's manageability and softness. Hope this answers your question. Best of luck!

@@honestlifetalk1138 but hair botox is, as far as I know, chemicals free? Ive read that its just a bunch of oils and hyaluronic acid, collagen and stuff 😕
@honestlifetalk11383 жыл бұрын
@@edgar7021 Hello. I would say it is chemical. The smell is very strong and the treatment has to be timed when applied to the hair.

Hi Dear. Sorry to hear that you lost your curls. Thankfully, that hasn't been the case for me. My curls are there, just more manageable. I liked my natural hair but it became to painful and time/money consuming to maintain. The botox has worked for me.
