DIY hair mask:
Queen Helen (Super) Cholesterol
1 Egg
Olive Oil (I don't measure, but you want mixture to be smooth and not too liquidy)
Mix ingredients together and smooth all through hair dry hair from roots to ends. Use mask BEFORE washing your hair. Leave mask in hair 30 minutes under a hooded dryer or 1 hour without. I do this mask once a month. Rinse out and follow with shampoo & conditioner.

You shared a few items that sound very interesting. I'm currently trying a line from a hair care professional that I found here on KZbin. I have the entire Olaplex line that I did enjoy but I experienced a lot of thinning so I'm trying something new. I still use the no. 7 because I love it. It is weightless and leaves a nice sheen. I recently purchased a T3 and it's ok, but I too have a GHD that has stood the test of time! (Definitely worth the 💰😉) Your hair is lush and beautiful! Tfs

The hair that was left after Olaplex treatments was soft and manageable, but I have very thin strands so I don’t have any to spare! 🤦🏾‍♀️

The Olaplex Oil is truly a winner! I've started using the system too and I'm enjoying that as well!! Yesss I love that the hair mask works for you as well!! I just relaxed my hair after losing it all to covid in 2021. I'm back at BSL but I wanted to know if you've ever used the Olaplex #3 and if so how often did you use it? Once a month, once every other month or only after/before a relaxer?

I hope your hair is back healthy and thriving now. I hate how many lasting effects Covid can have. I just started using Olaplex #3 and honestly I loved it at first. But at day 6 my hair started to feel so dry, so I'm not sure how much longer I will use it. I've never experienced this before. I planned to use it about once a month. Since I relax every 4 months, I also planned to use it after a relaxer for sure. But now I am not sure about the Olaplex system. I hear people raving about it, then I hear others say it wrecked havoc on their hair.

@KeikoBeauty Thank you. It's healthier than it has ever been, and i plan to grow it out 😊. I planned to use Olaplex #3 every other week, but I also heard a heavy protein regimen can have a negative impact. I currently use Ouai DC for fine hair, the leave in, and hair oil which is all has protein plus I just ordered Pureology 21 lol so it's looking like just once after a relaxer for me and I'll swap for my protein free DC. Hey girl- I am also relaxed just like you and I’ve been using a kids relaxer/texturizer kit from when I was a kid and my mom relaxed my hair but I’m starting to notice that anytime I retouch my hair, it starts cutting and breaking so bad and the relaxer burns before I even finish application. Ahh yess thank you so so much!! We are very similar for sure. Now, I don't do too much to care for my grey hair though. It's pretty low maintenance (at least right now). I do use a purple shampoo from matrix! That helps maintain it's vibrancy!!
