What are the cell therapies we should be keeping an eye on?
@BobDerm4 ай бұрын
There are several approaches to cell therapy that are briefly mentioned in Part 3 and there are labs around the world all adding to the knowledge base.

I thought the follicles in totally slick bald areas are dead or nonexistent. Are you saying they’re just dormant and can be revived?
@BobDerm4 ай бұрын
In general you are correct. There may be a small population of dormant follicles that can be revived, but even that is more theory than reality at this time.

They just partnered with Stemson Therapeutics, right?
@BobDerm4 ай бұрын
Yes that's correct. Stemson is located in San Diego, and the hope is that this partnership will be fruitful.

Hello Doctor. Have researchers made any progress now?
@BobDerm15 күн бұрын
Several presentations on this topic were given at a recent World Congress in Denver this past October 2024, but other than general optimism, no specific advances were reported.

@BobDerm In your opinion, Doctor, is cloning a zygote possible or is it complicated and impossible?

Hi, now that Stemson has shut down, when do you think hair regeneration become commercially available? What's the most realistic time line? I am a genuine patient asking, so please don't say sarcastic things like 5 years or 1000 years.

Stemson therapeutics ceased its operations for hair cloning. Unfortunately, There is no hope about this issue.

Hi doctors, what about the "surgery hair clonation " theres a doctor Who say if the grafts with 2 or 3,or 4 hairs are divided in singles, they growth in 2 or 3 or 4 hairs. He say he did it". He divided grafts with 2 hairs to singles, and each one grew in dobles... He called that process "surgery hair clonation" it could be true? The dr is Ali Emre Karadeniz...

I'm not aware of any method that would increase the number of hairs that a follicle produces. Can you provide me with a link to the procedure by Dr. Karadeniz please?

Hello doctor The question is the following: Will there be some type of hair cloning in which the procedure is injectable and not grafted and in which a hair follicle is generated from scratch as if it were grafted? As I understand it, hair companies are working on three techniques or three procedures but the doubt I have is if in the cell multiplication procedure a cell could be injected and new hair would grow from scratch even for scars.

Perhaps the best outcome would be the ability to inject tiny droplets into a hairless area, and cosmetically satisfactory hairs would grow without needing any other procedure. If that is ever possible, it probably won't be the first success, but rather be a future refinement.
