Same.I used both the Olapex shampoo and conditioner and I honestly didn't see any difference.But I noticed that this shampoo and conditioner helped me much more.The only downside for me is that after a while, it weighs down hair

I think it important to note that no shampoo, serum, mask, or treatment will ever really "get rid" of split ends. They might improve the appearance or even prevent it, but the only real way to get rid of them is to trim it off. You also wouldn't really be able to test the effectiveness of a shampoo such as this since the goal is to protect/strengthen hair to prevent hair loss and breakage, so youd probably only really see results within a few months or so (as is the case with most haircare and skincare products). I really enjoyed the review tho and it did give a really nice basic rundown

I used this yesterday, i love the scent! Also, it demolished my tangles! I have 3c curly hair and i found it to be a strengthening product line (which I needed at the time!) So I liked it for that...my curls are super bouncy now. I followed up these product with a moisturizing hair mask. My hair came out perfectly after styling.

Love this line. My first L’Oréal line I like. After using Olaplex for my waist length mixed race hair. I also use the Wonder water. I’m amazed at this product. Especially the leave in. Detangling was something I haven’t had very much luck with. Ripping out so much hair was a real bummer. I started with the W water and conditioner. I was very impressed. But it was the leave in that sealed the deal. Now I’m ready for the shampoo and the mask. Yes my hair is growing more then usual. My one slight issue is my hair is super light. My hair too is kinda straight ish after using this. Almost feels too clean. But not pulling all the hair out and spending all that Olaplex money will work for me. I have 3b 3c texture. Very long and thick.

I use the conditioner and mask of this line and I have to say, it's the best experience I've had. I have mixed hair (greasy at the scalp and dry at the ends) and since I use the mask and conditioner of this particular line, my hair's never looked healthier and is soft as a cloud. Will definitely keep using this line's products 🙂

@@agirl3146 Naturally straight, oily hair. 26'' long approx., usually washing every 2nd day. Btw, maybe this helps: I'm testing Jason Aloe Vera 80% + Prickly Pear Shampoo + Conditioner rn which is sulphate and paraben-free and pretty cheap. The smell is not that luxurious but the hair seems to do better. Also, I am not using any heat at all and putting Biosilk silk on my ends for years now so that they smell better. Not sure how the outcome would be with the heat.

This line was recommended to me by a coworker so I ran to get it the same day. After the first use I fell in love: the smell and my hair texture was indeed improved by this product and the smell..!!! So good!! I kept using both, shampoo and conditioner, as I usually would but eventually my scalp started to react because I’ve always had a dandruff problem and it wasn’t happy I had ditched my Nizoral. Btw even Nizoral wasn’t too effective on my scalp. Sad as I was, I ended up having to pause my dream lengths usage to treat my angry scalp. My biggest flakes were about half of a penny in size! And sometimes they would be visible and so embarrassing….Truly awful. Did some research and I bought a caffeine scalp scrub and I switched to the red selsum medicated shampoo and no conditioner. I used the scalp scrub prob twice a week for a month before shampooing and the selsum for about 6 months. My scalp really liked this shampoo. After the 2nd month I can say my dandruff was gone but I kept using it because it was working. The smell is really strong and not pleasant, which made me miss my dream lengths shampoo. Soooo……I went back to L’Oréal dream lengths and it’s been about 3 months now and my hair has been completely fine this time around. No flakes, no weird reactions, completely fine and it smells good! I’m praying it stays this way.

My hair looked nice at the ends, but over time it built up REALLY bad on my scalp and my hair looked oily even just after I showered and didn't use conditioner, I'd just use the ends treatment after that but it didn't help, so I switched to selsun blue with salicylic acid in it because I got really bad dandruff after switching shampoos to another one I can't remember the name of, but my hair would come out of my head and the end would look caked and I'd get lots of blocked pores/hairs so they fell out like that too. It was just a disaster. I really like the selsun blue with salicylic acid but I haven't tried many other things since then.

I just bought this shampoo and conditioner. In Canada, the shampoo says “ Straightening Shampoo” and the conditioner says “ Stretching Conditioner”. So it’ll make your hair less wavy, and be longer for sure. I love the products especially for the frizz control, which also helps the hair look longer. I also bought the frizz eraser serum and the heat spray. Love it all!!

This is making your hair fall out because there's so much protein and not much moisture. You always need to balance the protein. Always be careful with that. The leave in cream is really good but stay away from the shampoo if you don't wanna deal with the balancing

As I'm watching this...This same brand brings our a light lavender colored bottle with Hyaluranic Acid. I want to try it but I really can't use these cheaper brands....I just have weighted down....frizzy Nd gross hair. I end up drying my hair and breaking it it or having way to much of the build up and oils. I notice I use more to try to fix it.....So in the end.....I end up using better brands that are more expensive. In the long run I use less and have less wash days with higher end shampoos and conditioners. Love your channel and thank you for all that you do!

I bought them and I also bought the No Hair Cut Cream, which goes after the Shampoo and Conditioner and the Super Curls Cream of this L'ORÉAL ELVIVE Dream Lengths set. I loved the review(I just realized it wasn't very smart of me to buy before watching a couple of reviews). Yesterday, I bought the Shampoo and the No Hair Cut Cream and used those two. I used another conditioner from another brand, used the Shampoo, Conditioner and No hair Cut Cream and it smells wonderful, my hair is pretty soft and I think is was good overall. The No hair Cream says in the bottle that is protects your hair from heat (it protects up too 450 °F) and there's the Super Curls Cream, which says that it helps you with your curls. It would have been cool to see you try the full set or at least more products, besides the Shampoo and Conditioner but amazing review still. If someone here is planning on buying and have a soft, long hair with some waves like me I would recommend it. I use Head and Shoulders a lot because of Dandruff and that has damaged my hair so I am looking forward to these products, and the other ones you might review. I can't give this an A+ yet, I need to try the full set for sometime before giving my final thoughts. Thanks for this review, consider me subscribed!!!😁

I loved this shampoo line, worked well for my hair, but not for my scalp! Unfortunately I found out I'm highly allergic to what's in it. I had a horrible experience after using it few times. I recommend taking vitamins! Biotin vitamins and oiled infused as well. Don’t wash your hair so often, try to go 2-3 days if you can without washing it, and the day you decide to wash it, massage your scalp for 5 minutes straight. And Use free of harsh chemicals hair products.

The shampoo contains SALICYLIC ACID which is used for acne and dries out skin! It's horrible shampoo and conditioner! It stripped my hair, made it starting tangling (constantly, 5 minutes after I brush and detangle it's tangled again!) and it's been falling out for over a month. I'm livid. The salicylic acid in it strips the basic oils your hair, like it cleans your face and dries it out with Stridex pads, Proactive, etc. I'm sure there's gonna be a lawsuit soon. And I don't know what y'all are smelling. To me it smells like a cheap Avon perfume. 😂

Ya I’m watching this because I’m starting to get concerned about it drying out my scalp, and whether or not it is damaging my hair. I use it for when I straighten my hair so it has definitely ruined my curl pattern at this point. Please reply... I already pre ordered it... But now I'm afraid. I have oily scalp. And recently started having bad hair fall. I have to have to wash hair everyday. I normally wash daily and my hair stays fine. Will this shampoo be very harsh on everyday use?? Will these increase hair fall??

yup I noticed my hair started to fall out kinda as well :( I prefer Bioxine natural shampoo,it is against oily hair and it's anti hair fall too

Castor oil is a fad ingredient. It won't hurt you, but it also won't aid hair growth. On your head, eyebrows, or anywhere else. It's also a mess.

Castor oil is the best hair growth oil actually (at least on its own). It’s science proven to increase hair growth and thickness.

Actually I started using black Jamaican castor oil at the start of the year and I’ve seen amazing results. My overplucked sparse eyebrows from ten years ago actually filled out, I’ve seen eyelash growth and my hair is finally growing after being so damaged it wouldn’t pass my bra line Without breaking, it’s now near my waist!!! I can’t praise it enough :)

Hi! Yes, I have, and the main factor honestly is medication: minoxidil. After that, making sure I have the B12, Vitamin D, etc (checked by my doctor) that I need. Decent nutrition, not perfect. And frequent (every 2 or 3 days) hair washing. Lots of videos on my channel on each of these things, I hope you check them out! :)

@@HelenAvery yeah I need frequent washes. My scalp would scream at me after the second day. Unfortunately my hair wishes I would wash it once a week so I sometimes put oil or conditioner on the lengths before I wash.
