Just bought this shampoo and conditioner, I’ve seen a lot of good and bad opinions on it tho but I thought I’d give it a try. I have dark brown, silky, smooth, thick hair. I bought the smooth shampoo and conditioner. I’ll come back here in about 2 weeks or so and I’ll tell you my opinion on it x

Okay it’s been a week and I’ve put it in the trash, hated it. I used it twice before trashing it, the first time I used it my hair just felt dry then when I used it the second time my scalp was insanely itchy. I do not recommend for my hair type, I know it works for other people but if you have my hair type. It’s a no. I hope this has helped you on deciding whether to get it or not. Also, even tho I’m saying it’s awful for my hair type. It maybe good for your hair type. So if you have the total complete opposite of the hair type I have, give it a go it might actually be your fav shampoo and conditioner x

I have thin, wavy hair, i also have eczema and have very sensitive skin. I bought the moisturizing shampoo/conditioner and the first time i used my hair was very tangly (like it stripped whatever product was in my hair). HOWEVER, I woke up the next morning with cute, silky hair. After a couple of weeks of using, i muat say, you need to use both shampoo and conditioner in equal amounts, you can tell when you don't (i immediately get this cholorine smell). My hair feels smoothe, but not as silky like the first night of using it. But it is not anagging and is not falling out like before, plus, my scalp is not getting the "i haven't washed my hair in a couple of days" itch when i don't wash it. Overall, I'm quite happy.

I've been using the volumising one for a few months now. I noticed my hair had started thinning and falling out. My scalp was also becoming really itchy and flaky too. As soon as I went back to Kerastase my hair and scalp felt sooooo much better. Monday has been thrown in the trash!

The shampoo probably has a very high ph level. Always ph test your products before using.

I had the exact same result as you! I've been using it for about a month and I noticed how dry my hair was. I went to get a hair cut yesterday and my stylist said that my hair felt like straw. It just didn't work for me. I've stopped using it and went back to a more expensive/luxury brand that I've used before and loved. It's funny how everyone is different. I gave the Monday shampoo and conditioner to my Mother and it makes her hair soft and shiny.

Litterly the first time using it I heard my hear breaking and ALOT fell out in the shower . Thinking maybe it was from my pony tail to tight I took 4 days with my hair not in a ponytail and when I WENT to wash my hair I did a patch test and would you believe it that whole clump broke and fell out…. My hair does not just break off and when I have hair fall it’s not all at once. I never had hair issues.

Bought these at Costco. One wash and my honest review is this: Shampoo really tangled my hair. It felt brittle after washing. The conditioner seemed great in the shower. When I got out, my scalp itched so bad. Think it’s the alcohol in the conditioner. No hair loss but just tangled my hair so bad and scalp itched a lot after. Even day after, a lingering itch on scalp. Returning today to Costco.

I didn’t like this product at first but after I did some experimenting, I found out that I mixed the smooth conditioner with the volume shampoo and it was kinda dry but I thought what if using a after shower hair oil with the product would help, so that I get the volume and get the shine as well as cancel out the dryness, basically get the full affect plus moisture, my inner hairdresser told me that if I use the Paul Mitchell super skinny hair oil with this after the shower it would work! And it did!!! It helped me out, as well as alternating between a shampoo that helps with oil and this shampoo and conditioner duo! My hair has been healthy and thriving since this discovery! I think you should try it!!!

I wonder if the coconut oil in it is ruining this shampoo. I know there was a big hype around coconut oil but I’ve used coconut oil on my skin and hair and in fact it did quite the opposite claims and benefits it claims to do, I found I came out more dry after and no results of anything for my hair or skin so I’d bet money that it’s the coconut oil. I think if they switch that out for a better oil that actually works and is moisturizing then they’ll have a gem of a product. 👌🏻

I used this shampoo for quite sometime before I realised it was the worst ever. My hairdresser refused to lighten my hair because she said its full of silicone.. at first it worked really well, then i couldn't do anything with it as it was so weighted down with silicone. I npw have to wait 6 weeks till all the silicone is washed out before she will lighten it. Definitely will not recommend this shampoo. Yes the bottle is lovely thats the only good thing about it.

I haaaattteeeed this shampoo and conditioner! I tried the moisture and volume versions. The smells like something from the 80’s ( cheap) . My hair felt dry as heck. My son has healthier hair that’s almost to his waist and he was okay with it, but his hair is coarse thick hair . He said he felt his hair was harder to de tangle after washing though and I noticed the same! Oh boy. The conditioner feels nice initially but rinses out and the hair feels kind of dry and not silky. Had such high hopes because it was so hyped !!!

I think I’ve put the gel moments shampoo / conditioner / oil on such a high pedestal I can’t seem to like anything else lol! I found something similar and cheaper from the beauty supply store called “rice water remedy “by Curly Chic. It has great ingredients and is geared toward replenishment and growth ! Helen-- I've used Chi Magnified Volume Shampoo and conditioner for years. I try various shampoos and always come back. It works differently--can't really explain but it works great for me. It smells GREAT. It's very thick and luxurious. Of course, different products work differently for each of us so what I love, you may not. However--give it a try! I use the large bottles and have to order it from the company but you can find the smaller bottle in stores. For the damage and to remoisturize? Try Briogeo's Be Gentle Be Kind. Until your salons reopen and you can get a trim, it will probably help as much as anything. As an aside, THANK YOU for your hair loss videos--you gave me the courage to try Rogaine 5% for women and I'm on my 19th week and LOVING it!!

I was drawn to this shampoo/conditioner brand for the same reasons as well-aesthetics, no parabens, sulfates... also after 2-3 weeks my scalp started to burn and my hair has been falling out more than usual.. very disappointed. Don’t buy this if you don’t like to gamble with your hair.

I’m also pregnant so pregnancy is probably keeping my hair shiny. I also used to dye and bleach my hair a lot. Haven’t noticed any breakage or thinning.

Passss for me. I was intrigued and almost bought it. This has such high marks on Ulta. 🧐. I just sent in my hair sample for stands hair care. Surprisingly I had a hard time given them a sample. finally threw mine out. I now have Loreal Serie Salicylic acid for my oily scalp, Pacifica Rosemary poo and conditioner, and Shea Moisture Curl glam poo and conditioner. I rotate them depending on how dirty my hair is. my work horse being the Loreal Serie. My hair stopped falling and dries soft and shiny. I am a guy who grew his hair from 4/2020 lockdown and was so lost in the hair care department. With research and finally experimenting I finally found what works for me. I also dump that S#!+ OGX. Even with their coconut line conditioner my hair finger combs out in clumps in the shower. It was depressing.

I bought it some time ago, wanted to give it a go, after few tries l realized its not for my hair type. Although it was writen its against frizzy hair, my hair was still frizzy after using it. My hair ends doesnt seem any smoother, the smell is good but only on the begining, before you start shampooing. I personally wouldnt buy it again but it was still worth to try it otherwise l wouldnt know. But it may work out for girls with other hair types

You need a keratin treatment. I did one last year and WHOA! My hair turned out like silk..Like in the commercials. One thng though; it bleaches but since it repair the har you can just colour it back after 2 weeks. I'm addicted to those now and do one a year :D

I use Celsun blue medication for my. Scalp it moisturizes and. Cleans my dandruff and makes my scalps way less itchy. The. I. Rub and lather my scalp with monday shampoo the smooth one then I Wait a bit and use conditioner

I’m a hairdresser and this is the absolute WORST shampoo you can use on your hair. We’ve had cases of hair frying and melting off when bleaching if this brand is used prior. We have to refuse colour and bleaching services to anyone who has used it. Not sure why it’s still on the shelves!

@@wthman8281 because if a conditioner is damaging, even if you only put it on the ends, it will cause your ends to break off. Keep in mind, when people talk about hair loss, it generally refers to lack of hair retention. Meaning while growth is happening at the root, their ends (the most fragile part of your hair) is breaking off and so they lose length, or end up being stuck at a certain length. However, with this shampoo, people are saying they are also getting hair loss issues at the root I forms of bald patches or follicle issues. I really hope this helps to answer your question as I saw no one replied yet. 😊

@@wthman8281 Sorry, just saw your comment. I used both the shampoo and conditioner and suffered from severe fallout after usage. This user only used their shampoo, so I was wondering if my use of the two products together caused my ultimate hair damage. Because the conditioner did not properly condition my hair, my ends became very brittle and split. Over time my hair was getting shorter because I couldn't keep the poorly conditioned length. The products seemed to strip my hair of nutrients and life. It would just break off. I lost many baby hairs/new growth and had some thinning at the roots. Before I used this I had very little fallout in the shower here and there, like on days I wore my hair in a messy bun. Once I started to notice it falling out more and more with each use, I stopped using it. The very last time I used it I pulled out a handful of hair from both root and end. It was devestating especially becsuse I have very fine hair, slow growing hair, and I had been growing it out for *3 years* before that. It was so super healthy before I came across what seemed to me like a good and afforadble hair care option. I've seen many others post about these same issues, unfortunately.

@@adelaidedecerjat7240 It specifically damaged my hair during usage. Once I stopped using it, the fallout slowed down significantly and my hair sloooowly returned to normal. It's not back to exactly what it was entirely as I had been growing it out for 3 years, but changing the product, specifically to a cowash, has helped me a lot in regaining some of the lost/thinned hair and in returning the strands to a more healthy state. I would say the turn around after usage was maybe 3-4 months for me.

Sorry, didn't watch the whole video, question thus, how long did you use this rubbish shampoo and conditioner for? One use is fine. Use this product for a few weeks and wait for the damage that will occur to your scalp. This stuff is trash, and like most people I got sucked by the pretty packaging. This product is toxic with a lot of supermarkets I visit selling this rubbish on clearance for $5 and they still can't move their stock in Australia.
