She's such a cutie and growing up too quickly. And a tip to grow her is to braid using only her natural hair in cornrows and keep those for about a month but moisturise and oil it regularly (maybe wash it if too dirty once after two weeks). Than take those down after a month and repeat ...Avoid using hair dryers as you can see her hair is thining because of damage . In six months her hair will be at its healthest and longer whereby it can be able to do more eith it naturally ❤ Love you guys from South Africa❤

Emily, l have dread locs and l want to tell you, they are hard to maintain. You said Tallie had them when she was 2, you needed someone to maintain them every 1-2 months. They are great and make the hair grow only if they are well maintained monthly. That is an FYI……if you decide to lock her hair again. Much Love to you & your family♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

You need to take her to a loctician and not a salon. Some children's hair is not strong enough to take extensions so that's why it breaks off. Also the UK hair products, weather and water can ruin afro hair. I grew up in the Caribbean and my hair in the UK behaves and feels completely different from in the tropics.
@TheLarters11 ай бұрын
Tallie has never been to the UK 😊 The salon were never supposed to remove her locs, we had planned to go to Kampala - hence the absolute disaster when they decided to 😩

@@TheLarters Noted. The Dove conditioner is not moisturising enough for her hair. I have never used Dove for my Afro hair in any country.
@TheLarters10 ай бұрын
Yes, I know! I use Mielle on their hair for actual washing and conditioning, but I brought it over from the UK and did not want to use it all up - this was just a temporary measure to try and remove a couple of locs whilst I got a big bottle of conditioner for her!@@marleyhill34 ☺

No it wasn't... know the truth before repeating what someone else said... Do you even know why dreads were originally formed... Black people starting calling them locks when they became a fad, a Rasta would have no problem with the term dreadlocks... Even Goldie had locks, locks is just hair

@@siahyoung6335 well please enlighten us!

It must also be said that many black people do not like it when black people use the words dreadlocks as many feel it is or should be specific to Rastafarians while others feel it has a derogatory connotation and prefer to refer to their hair as locs.
