This video is a 3 hours long extended version of the Hair Dryer Sound 54 (a binaural recording of a Beautural blow dryer with its concentrator nozzle inserted), a video that is still receiving an average of 500 daily views. I upload an extended version video a month in these days. This new kind of video is quite appreciated, so I keep making it. In the near future I will publish super-extra-long versions, 8-9 hors long, with black screen.
Although what I like the most are my beloved 1 hour long hair dryer videos, recorded in a single shot using a single blow dryer with the same setting, which I publish every Monday, I really love trying new things, eagerly listening to my subscribers wishes. That's why I started making hair dryer sound compilations and extended versions of my "normal" videos.
All my videos are conceived to be a sort of technological lullaby to sleep and relax, that's why they are ads-free. There is no point in placing adverts in a supposed-to-be relaxing video! No ads, only enjoyment!
All my videos are binaural recording as well. use headphones to better appreciate the binaural sound!

My personal favourite sound was from sitting in the back seat of family car on LONG Long drives towards a holiday place.. It might not work today as sound shielding is much better in cars now.. But.. The sound of air rushing past the seal of the door whilst I had my head stuffed down there trying to sleep.. Used to put me into a little kids meditative hallucinatory semi conscious TRIP.. Vivid closed eye visuals.. Swirling colourful patterns... Really excellent.. I USED to resent arriving at the hallowed destination.....

Hey Al, I love your work. I think I have watched all your videos now and I have a number of them that I keep coming back to. This video being one of them. I would love a video where you have 2 dryers at the same time. One in your left hand one in your right and you have them on simultaneously moving left to right up and down, round and round. I would also love to hear layered sounds. Like maybe rain in the background while you are using the hairdryer??? I don't know, I just feel like if anyone can do it, you can. Thanks for the content.

@@Favourites8891 the problem is that I have to record the sound effects... is not so easy. I have recorded a lot of rainy sounds, but there were always some problem... I'll publish a rain and thunder video by the end of September... the least imperfect one. About the wind, there are a lot of problems because wind on mics creates rumbles and distortions (I am not an expert in outdoor recordings) even if you use a professional mic and a windscreen ... we will see...

Man, this is the good sleeping stuff. But my ecologist heart holds mixed feelings about my love for this and my preoccupation for the environment, because electricity is used up and heat is generated unnecessarily... Does your power supply come from a renewable source, like wind power or solar energy? That is my only concern. Even if they're not, I'm at least glad that we all can listen to this single video recorded once instead of having someone shooting at us with a hair dryer 😂😂 Thank you for your work and the peace you bring. Your videos take me back to when i was a child and my mother used to dry her hair at bedtime and i heard it from my room. One of my peacefulest memories. Cheers from Spain and thank you again!

I simply insert the plug, switch on the hair dryer and start recording the video,. Anyway - as you have underlined - people who watch my videos do not switch on any real hair dryer, so in the end there is a lot of electricity saving! 😉 It always amazes me how much the relaxing power of hairdryer sounds is often related to our childhood-grooming experiences... thanks so much for your precious feedback my friend! Do you modify the hair dryer? By this I mean do you take the heating element out, I'm guessing the hair dryer would over heat if keeper on for to long. Or is it just down to editing and looping

Visual ASMR is an art, Suleyman Ak! ;) I think that my videos are so appreciated because I really love doing them, I have overcame my sleeping problems by means of visual ASMR and white noise videos, so I know what I am doing ... a lot of people perform hair dryer videos because they think they are a useful fad, they are trendy, but probably they do not watch them regularly ... they don't love what they are doing ... but I do love them, a enjoy performing them, that's the difference! ;)

Oof this is weird... Don't judge me but I sometimes use a hairdryer next to me in bed cause I like the hot air, it's bad to fall asleep to it but I haven't had any accidents. Hearing this now makes my body twitch cause I don't feel any air

I had similar problems when I started listening to videos instead of using real hairdryers, but listening to videos is by far safer and cheaper than listening to real ones... you have to get used to it.
