I have lost about a third of my hair and am reaching to the tape on idea. I need much more fullness on the top and crown. The length will just be a plus. Getting married in a couple of weeks and beside myself about my hair

What city are you in? Extensions will probably make you feel better for the most part, but a Beaded Topper would really “Top”🤪 it off by adding hair on top also🤷‍♂️

Great question! I’d still do the top and bottom row and then fill in with whatever is left.

I have a 11 year old that lost 95% of her hair last year. We are getting new growth but it’s short. She refuses to wear wigs. Really looking for options for her. She keeps asking for extensions but it would be a full head. I’ve been told by multiple stylist locally it’s just not possible. Can you please give me any advice?

It is difficult to do extensions on very short hair. I think you and your daughter would be surprised at how good wigs can look, and how far they’ve come. You should encourage her to at least go try on wigs at a wig shop and see for herself. Some wig shops are old-school, and may not look good, so don’t give up if the first one is a bad experience🤷‍♂️

So what should the placement be if client wants to wear half up and half down??

Have the client put their hair up and draw the part on their head with a Barbers pencil and stay 1 inch away from the line with all extensions. Use white on light hair and black on dark hair. The line should be diagonal so that the hair closer to the top will cover the part when let down. Beaded Strands or K-Tips on the sides and the back can be anything… strands, wefts, tape…

I really should edit my comment because it really comes off as so just nasty sounding. The video actually has outstanding content that really came in handy for me personally.
