Ngl, I think the biggest reason why it's so easy is because the silhouette of the character that is framed by the hair. For example, Dehya's at 3:00 is really obvious. And then, of course, the second reason would be Mihoyo's great character design :)

I knew Razor’s hair, as belonging to “Mondstadt’s wolf boy” and “Benny’s best friend,” but couldn’t remember the name. My brain kept insisting he was called Cyno even though I KNEW it wasn’t him. Same with Xingqiu’s. I knew he was “the frilly shirt Liyue boy,” “Chongyun’s best friend” and “second son of Feiyun commerce guild.”But my brain kept insisting his name was Xinyun. I don’t think there’s even a Xinyun in the game.
