@HennaSooq Could you potentially do a video on the differences between your shampoo bars, washes, and co-washes? And the different scenarios in which you would use each? Are they each formulated for specific hair types? I love your energy, KZbin content and your business, you're an inspiration!!

@@ruchisistu8918 you can make it as thin or thick as you want w the water. It doesn’t have to be really thick. I use a food grade strainer before adding to any hair mask. Otherwise it takes me forever to get it all out of my hair.

can we add fenugreek amla and henna?
@lisasaadiq33724 жыл бұрын
Tres cool! I've been masking with powdered fenugreek and amla on a weekly basis for the past month. Weekly works best for me. For liquid, my choice is aloe vera juice over water. Have also added plain greek yogurt in 3 of my masks and coconut milk in another just see if there would be a difference in results. I prefer the greek yogurt. The essential oil add-ins are rosemary and peppermint along with tbsp or 2 of diy growth oil. Mixing and applying is definitely a nice ritual especially when the end results are felt (softer hair) and seen (defined curls enhanced with leave in). Will check the site so I can stay stocked up! So glad you did this on YT!
@stephanieb3304 жыл бұрын
So by doing the treatments weekly it won’t damage your hair cause I just started these treatments , I just did a clay mix on my hair , so how long after can I do the Alma and fenugreek treatments to my hair
@lisasaadiq33724 жыл бұрын
@@stephanieb330 So far I haven't experienced any ill-effects with my weekly usage and it's been exactly 5 weeks with my 5th treatment happening today! I have tried several mixes and methods with different schedules over several years. Right now and what is giving me great results is a rhassoul clay pack on Sundays followed with a co-wash and acv rinse and on Wednesdays the amla fenugreek pack described above. I have noticed less hair in my comb-outs which is exciting. Moisture is longer-lasting. I am using smaller amounts of leave-ins and diy growth oils. It's one of those "what works for me" things. I also color with henna and I am overdue currently LOL but seeing the new growth (salt pepper gray) is exciting! So I'll get around to it eventually. Amla is known to darken hair and I add it to my henna when coloring. It has helped with the orange-tinging challenge. I always use the Indigo in the coloring. Again, once one finds their "hit" with mixes and regimen/schedule your hair and scalp will flourish! Keep watching Kadijah she has a wealth of knowledge on the various herbs and mixes! You will find your "hit" as well just "listen" to your hair!

Love your mixes! Are you licensed in cosmetology?
@HennaSooq4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Joy. No unfortunately I'm not. I've thought about it but they don't teach henna natural hair color nor do they teach Ayurvedic healthy hair care. I don't want to go to cosmetology school if I have to learn about things I don't really believe in such as all the chemicals that used specifically. I love the science behind it though. So this is why I decided to work with a well-known natural hair cosmetologist so we can create a proper professional curriculum for natural hair color and care using henna and Ayurvedic herbs. I'm pretty excited about it and think it'll really bring things full circle.

Look at Tia Kirby's video. It is suggested by Henna Sooq. It shows you how to dye your hair black. If the grey doesn't turn black the 1st time there is another video that tells you to go back in within 3 days of doing the Henna/Indigo, with 1 more seperate Indigo treatment then it will turn totally black. I did it and it worked for my stubborn greys. Good luck.
