2-4 weeks. If I'm carrying it for up to 4 weeks, I will wash it at least once around the 3rd week

I keep my mini braids as long as 2-3 months maximum and it helped me retain length for over two years now that what works for me. But I wash moisturize and do all dose stuff frequently in the protective style. My hair is just 3 years old and it’s long and healthy.Someone introduce me to mini braids when my hair was a year old.

Just that I love loose twist because normal twist tangles my hair even though I keep them for two weeks my hair will just lock up like dreads and taking them down is frustrating so that’s why I stick to mini braids and keep them that long because am lazy 😂

@@Mrs_Justina1 how do you wash your in braids without looking frizz.i keep mine braids 2weeks max.than it looks frizz but i dont wash them.sometimes i only use acv rinse on the scalp.how often do you put moisture in it.

@@mosey5878 yes I wash my hair twice a month and moisturize weekly. Well people hair is different what worked for me might not work for u.like I can stay two months or more without washing my hair it won’t itch me while some people can’t stay a week so everybody is different. But the trick here is dat I wash and moisturize frequently and take care of my hair even in protective styles.

@the.olamidefred I tried making own diy oil with herbs I feel its helped a little in terms of thickness. I try to keep my hair in protective styles like cornrowns and wash around once a week or else my scalp itches. I also take vitamins but I feel. like the right side of my hair has been the same length for years 😭😭😭
