I actually don’t think salons are bad especially natural hair salon, there are good ones, good ones are increasing day by day, you will pay (and not all are expensive ) but it is worth it. There are also mobile natural hairstylists, if one can’t trust salon and if one can afford it try mobile natural hairstylist, they do great job also. And if perhaps it has to be a salon that has no natural hair care specifications, one should take note as the hair is being made and speak up when you notice any discrepancies (you are an adult and airing your opinion will not get you jailed especially when you are paying to get your hair done) My whole gist that there are good salons and people who can’t style their hair by themselves and don’t have the time to consistently care for their hair themselves should do due diligence and find one.

@Yes, that should be our reality but unfortunately right from time “natural hair” was not the norm. Plus in Nigeria anyone and everyone can be a hairstylist, there is no regulatory body or license body but I hope with time these bodies are set up and it gets better that hair care salon is easy to access and are affordable for all and sundry:
