This problem is one that never gets addressed by anyone and I thank you for the video. It should be built into the hair system to automatically take care of problems like this. There should be some kind ramp to make roots lay down closer to the scalp the further down the head they go.

A "puff brush" would be good, but ultimately a "push away from surface" like Ornatrix is needed.

Whats the best way to export my model to mixamo to rig and animate. Then bring back into c4d?. I tried to made a double of my model and deleted the hole body and kept the skull then deleted all the polygons around the hair guides. then saved this hair object to be parented to the original animated model with no hair. this did not work for me. any other waYS

If your turning the geometry and not the lights then dynamics will have a greater effect. You may want to turn dynamics off from the hair object or change it to Rigid. You can also keep a style in place adjusting (Rest mix) and (Rest Hold) parameters for the hair dynamics. Of course I assume you have the hair cap either weighted to head bone, a child of head, or constraint.

The hair model has a skull cap to work off, sory should have said earlier.
