I would encourage Lisa to change her eye makeup to a softer look. Black eyeliner in a thick line on the lower lash line makes the eyes smaller. It also is a dated look. More modern, softer makeup would make her eyes really shine.

You’re a great teacher as well as a master stylist. I would love to see you work on clients, especially those with challenging hair problems. I’m challenged by baldness at my forehead hairline and hairloss at top of my head. I struggle with loss of esteem due to the embarrassment I feel trying to cover up my balding bare top. Those powder sprinkling spray are difficult to maintain in the extreme heat of Central Valley of California. I wish you were in my community. I would feel so confident in your chair!

What I noticed when you showed the pic of Lisa with her hair swept back from her forehead and tucked behind her ears is that she looked much younger. Her profile was balanced and her jawline was stronger. I also noticed that you had darkened her eyebrows (before you said it) and I think a stronger brow suits her. I love the styles you recommended for her.

Watched this right after the LIVE ended, but the moment I saw Lisa and her beautiful eyes, I kept thinking her brows needed to be darker. It's not only the hair, but the balance of the face. There's an option called Brow Lamination that's like a perm for your brows. An experienced esthetician can style and dye the brows to give you a thicker brow with all your own hairs. My daughter has a luxury skin care salon and I love that service. ALSO: you should connect with the Blowout Professor who specializes in which shampoo suits what types of hair. He recently did a video with our pal, Glam Girl Gabi. He's amazing.

Regarding flyaways, here in winter that is an issue, middle of Canada, I shove a dryer sheet in my pocket, sometimes even rub on top layer of hair. I also strap one onto my broom handle. It works. I don't use them in my dryer because they are way more poison-y heated and vented into my breathing apparatus...but getting shocked all winter is a boundary I need to manage.

Hi Justin and Dionna, this was the PERFECT video for me. I have had a pixie haircut for the past two years and now I want to grow it out into a bob. I really like Dionna’s hairstyle. I have had a bob most of my life, and I think it’s the best haircut for me. I have had bangs and not have had bangs, I like it both ways. My hair is kind of shaggy now, because I am growing it out, but the last picture you showed was perfect for the length my hair is at right now. I have an appointment next week at my hairstylist, and I’m going to ask for that shaping. I have had the same hairstylist for the past 35 years now. She knows what looks good on me. Anyway thanks so much for these videos!❤️😊🙋♀️🇨🇦

I just cut my shoulder blade length hair that had a few layers with a curtain bang into a pixie cut. Now all my beautiful silver gray hair is shining thru instead of my processed colored hair. But I miss miss miss my long hair and I want to grow it back. 😢 I do love how my over the ear pixie cut accentuates my cheekbones and eyes. Everyone loves it but I’m not sure I do anymore. I look in the mirror and I don’t feel like myself. I’m 53, in menopause and I’ve basically had the same hairstyle my entire life. Is there a shoulder length haircuts with some type of bang that can make my cheekbones and eyes pop? I like volume near my temples and I do love it off my neck. I’m so torn on what to do? Ugh I’ll try my best upload a few pics. You and Dionna are the best , thank youuu in advance. Cindi Hanson Xoxo

Missed the live! I noticed the brow makeup right away. Lisa’s before haircut was dated especially the pointy piece in front of the ear - so Vidal Sassoon! I have had that cut and never liked it - lol. Hair off our faces is so much more youthful. Your choices are so perfect and I would love that for myself. I got an email from you asking if I was interested in possibly being selected as a model and to provide photos if I had fine thin hair. I would have submitted but I literally just cut my hair days before. A couple months ago went from shoulder length to short shag. Best thing I did. I have fine hair that is dense at the crown, but thin in the back. Plus I have a pretty flat occipital bone. Anything tight at the nape just emphasizes my flat head. Maybe there is an opportunity in the future to be selected to address that problem. Plus, I live in Portland! Fingers crossed.

I enjoy the lives but I also enjoy the prerecorded. I would enjoy seeing the styling you talked about and if the bar soap is healthier. I think you have talked about length before with shape of face but I could use a refresher. I turn 60 soon, my hair is changing, its long, I have a small head, small face, long thin neck, natural hair color, different hair textures in different areas of head, some wild hard to tame underneath, up top near part is smooth, straight. The very center bang area grows directionally toward the face. I would love a consult but short of that I would love to hear how you go about figuring things out when you have growth direction, different textures, a little thinning at one temple. YICKS, too many things.
