Try Avocado oil...it's amazing. It softens ur hair and is so moisturizing. I mix it with aloe vera and use it the mix to detangle

@@daughterofyah6209 I put aloe vera gel,caster oil, coconut oil and grapeseed oil with the avocado oil. I soak fenugreek seeds in the mixture for 2 days and then strain the seeds. I 💖 this mix. It softens plus aides in growth. Hope it helps you. You can mix whatever oils wk in ur hair

I have 4c low porosity hair , I use sweet almond oil (the real one -no scent-) , avocado , olive ,castor cold pressed oil, tea tree ,jojoba and macadamia oil.

Olive, avocado, and coconut oil are really good for a pre-poo or deep conditioner because they penetrate and have a lot of slip, perfect for detangling. I love whipped shea butter, butters are the only thing I can use to seal the moisture in, regular oils don't really do that for me. Cocoa butter is harder to use since it's not as soft, but it works just as well and makes your hair smell like chocolate.
Yes Mango Black Castor Oil! That's a great one. The Black Jamaican product line has some good products. I like Taliah Waajid the Great Detangler. It makes detangling my 4c hair wonderful. Maybe you would like it.

I love the extra dark JBCO. It has a strong smell but it works wonders. I mainly use it for hot oil treatments because of the smell and the results it gives. My scalp just loves it.

I'm like your hair opposite lol. My hair hasn't stood up since 2014... Lmao my top three oils would be Coconut( for pre poo and detangling) Sweet Almond oil(as a carrier but I use all of them for that really TEA TREE OIL IS KING), and Grapeseed oil(it plays well with others and is light) Believe it or not in the winter I use hair grease with jojoba oil as a sealant ONLY ON MY ENDS lol

I really wanna try peppermint oil just because I love peppermint lol primarily though I just use coconut and olive oil for pretty much everything. *I do not recommend coconut oil if you have oily skin* my skin and hair is drier than the Sahara and nothing works for me so I use coconut oil for everything

I didn't know you had to use oils like peppermint and tea tree w/ carrier oils...I always just used tea tree on its own. I guess that /has/ given me a bit of itchiness on the scalp sometimes so that may be a sign. However I do use tea tree on the shaft of my hair and it's fine for me. Btw my hair is 4a (mostly), low porosity, lowwww low density, and fine.

Buns and low manipulation styles, protective styling like crotchet, and crotchet some hair on a ponytail holder to keep your hair up and away. Use thick oil or blue magic, and a hair softener like Sta-sof-fro to keep hair mosturized. Spray with aloe vera juice regularly.

Hunny get you some STA-SOF-FRO asap! Check the ingredients, there's other similar hair softeners out there too. It's old school but it WORKS! Crispy hair will be gone for multiple days plus you can use it in your hair during protective styles. Your roots will stay soft, smell pleasant, no itch, and scalp moisturized! Me and my daughters have 4c and 4b hair.
