Questions I have a ported prefab box for 2 18" subwoofers that's 48"×26"×26" does anyone think that box size is way to big for 2 18" Resilient Sounds Platinum subwoofers?? Some people say it's to big of a box.

what’s the internal volume? the dimensions seem way too small. the RS platinum 18’s need 4-6 cubic feet of airspace each, so that box would need to be at least 8-12 cubic feet total. They also require a good amount of port area. -edit: my head math wasn’t mathin, i did the actual math lol, im assuming it’s around 14-15ish cubic feet total depending on the wood thickness and displacement. So the box may be a little big, but if you’re pushing them with a good amount of power and tuned low, you should be straight and may even get a little windy if the box is tuned below 29hz

Trucks got an advantage on getting more DBs than a full size suv. I only got 2 18" Resilient Sounds Platinum subwoofers and only meter a 147.8 in the kick.

I'm changing my ohms on my subwoofers to .50 ohms and I'm going to gain match all 3 amplifiers. I still got to get 1 more 18" Resilient Sounds Platinum subwoofer and a better battery.
