I also love this doll because of the prosthetic leg which is very diverse of barbie. The only way I found to make this hair type presentable is curling it. Because it never lays flat at the root.

Yes!!! It’s so thick and voluminous, it is always standing up from the root , you’re right

I have that same doll and thought about rerooting it with saran for reals. The only reason I would keep it would be for the color and to some extent the texture. Polypropylene is such a cheap fiber though

The barbies with the fantasy hair colors ie dreamtopia has that cheap polypropylene hair fiber that's so stiff. I hate it. Luckily , the dreamtopia mermaid basic with the Odile face and her 3 sisters are getting Saran hair.
