I would love to see you do some of these techniques on someone who has extremly low density, very fine hair because all of my hair would fit in one of those small claw clips, I probably have less than a quarter of the amount of hair you do. I struggle with volume, and find it very hard to create it using those brushes as there is just so little of it, sectioning the hair is very difficult. I must say many of your tips have helped me and it is way better than it ever has been, so thank you so much for all your wonderful videos!

it was washday today so I tried this... I have to say I was very sceptical as my hair looked horrible in a cast until I scrunched it out and it turned out AMAZING!!!! I haven't even diffused, i let it air dry as we are having a pretty hot day here in the UK. My hair looks the best it has done in a while!!! thank you

Fine, low density, loose curls. What volume? Volume dust, volume sprays, dry shampoos just make my hair feel durty. And the clips on wet hair just make the hair clump more And if it dries that way you can see the scalp. But at last! I saw how to style with the denman on the top which for me is too flat And i have sooooo large "parts". I will save the video to try on the next wash day. Thank you.

i’d just like to add, try washing and brushing your hair upside down! it helps me shampoo my scalp more effectively especially at the top of my head, therefore removing more oil and buildup from my scalp. and when i style my hair, brushing and combing upside down helps lift up my roots a lot. combine this with mell’s tips and im pretty sure your hair will just end up defying gravity lmao

You talk alot about hair getting weighted down when it comes to fine hair. Would love to hear more about thick/coarse/long hair that gets weighted down. It's an issue iv been struggling with for years. My hair is extremely long, thick, dense and pretty coarse. But my curls aren't tight like yours. So the weight of my hair (especially when wet or with product in it) it gets weighted down killing all the volume at the root and pulling my curls straight. It sucks.

if you have longer hair it could been the sheer weight of it all. not too sure though, i just know thats what it was for me

The biggest solution to that would be getting layers or cutting hair shorter. I feel like the issue is the actual weight of ur hair.
