I agree! If this was a sister with thick healthy hairline it’d be a diff’t story but her hairline is already sparse as it is. Smh. No shade, just real talk. Once them edges are gone - it’s hard to revive the follicles- I know from experience. The workmanship is very nice though- talented hands.

You are so right. These hairstyles are beautiful but very bad for the hairline. Most of these women have traction alopecia because of these styles. I stopped weaving and braiding in an effort to preserve my hairline. I now have locs down my back...all natural...with a full hairline.
