I really think people feel it's their job to humble you by trying to expose you as a fraud! It's something hate watchers do all the time. Rather than protect their heart and peace, they like to watch people they hate and make argumentative, malicious and incendiary comments to get you to catch their bate. This is my favorite gel. I’m too lazy to do extra. I just make sure my hair is soaking wet. So just 3 things. Shampoo conditioner gel. It comes out nicely. You are so charming. Keep up the good work.

2:30, Btw (TLDR : hair that has a lot of shine, takes super long to dry, it takes day(s), and doesn't really get wet at all) Low porosity is essentially a tightly sealed cuticle, that reflects light and doesn't let moisture easily get in and get out , practically low porosity hair is a genetic factor, you're usually born with it, it's fundamentally associated with the peak of hair health, it's pretty much the healthiest porosity, not all products work with it, like heavy butters and oils. Their molecules are too big to penetrate the tightly sealed cuticle and that's why products with humectants like honey and glycerin work better for this porosity. If your hair sounds a lot like my description you should pretty much have low porosity hair.

Just started watching and wondering if you will get flakes. I love UFD. But when I try it with mousse I get flakes. It might be me being too heavy handed. Also I'm wondering if your end result will be sticky. UFD can be very sticky if you use too much. However, I found the perfect combo by using less UFD as a base and then topping with Miche Tropical Oasis! OMG...it is pure perfection for me and not sticky.

Hey Brittany! If you were using Uncle Funky’s Daughter as your only styler requires a lot of water to really define your curls. It looks like you used enough gel and I’m glad that you emulsified it in your hands first before smoothing it into your hair 👍🏾 ❤.

Your results were BOMB! I used to LOVE Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic! It was my holy grail gel. Then they changed the formula and added protein as the 5th ingredient as well as glycerin. At the time I was dealing with a horrible case of protein overload and glycerin seemed to make my hair crunchy & dry, so I was scared to use it. Watching this video makes me want to revisit this gel and give it another try since I’m no longer dealing with the protein overload problem. Also, this gel gives a WAY firmer hold when used alone, but I always used it with the Camille Rose honey hydrate as a leave in. I got bomb results, but Camille Rose has also since changed their formula 🙄.

Us 4c girlies feel awful well me in particular I feel wronged and annoyed when I search and I see nothing related to my hair. Especially in my country where they only import things from Spain and the majority of Spain women have straight hair and now that they know we need natural hair products for black girls they bring them and sell it trice the price. Literally I'm struggling with hair and you can't even find essential oils or raw products to make your own.... Real struggle living in countries that are underdeveloped
