So glad I have curly hair, you can hack on it pretty good and no one can see if it is uneven. Cause it shrinks up and curls at different rates in different places.

I love the color of her balayage. As for the curtain bangs on the other girl, I was wondering… could you create some kind of template for people to use to cut their own bangs? So many people are cutting their own hair because of Covid and don’t know what they’re doing. I realize people have different sized heads and face shapes, but there might be a way to compensate for that? 🤷🏻‍♀️

15:04 she used Joico Color Butter, it’s actually a conditioning DYE, it’s what I use to maintain my purple and pink balayage between visits to my hairdresser 💇🏻‍♀️. I cringed the second she showed this product and described its function incorrectly.

You can absolutely put pink over a yellow canvas. Hot pink goes great on top of yellow. If you want pastel pink then yes, you need a near white canvas.

I cut my own bangs and it took me a while to get it right, I usually have short bangs. Right now I'm painfully growing out a pixie cut. PLEASE always cut them too long. It takes a lot of little cuts to make it all straight. If you cut them to the length you want them to be in the end you will end up with bangs that are way too short.

Have you ever worked with henna hair colouring and how was it? I recently developed an allergy to bleach after about 15 years or using it without and issue (I ended up in hospital) Just looking for safer ways to colour but I'm just worried now to try new things.

I used Henna in my salon, it is great BUT... You can NOT lift (go blond) with henna. If you can lift then it is not henna. And it will always be gold/copper

I have been hennaing my hair for many years. Granted I have jet black hair. You have to be careful with lighter/bleached hair (test loose strands in your brush first). Color outcome can vary greatly on lighter/bleached hair ( since the henna is a plant that dyes the hair red).
