I used Quick Blue, 20 vol and shampoo in a bleach bath and washed it out after 20 minutes. I knew it was going to be ginger which is fine. I can deal with this hang out shade for a few weeks.

I have a funny story about those fuzzy balls....when my Grandson was 4 years old I bought some of those, they're meant to stick to each other to create little characters etc. I was in his playroom lying on the floor concentrating on making something out of the fuzz-balls and unfortunately he was busy creating something out of my hair....my hair was up in a messy bun and he was busy gently dropping these weird little balls onto my bun....by the time I realised they were firmly embedded, as they have tiny little hooked ends, a bit like velcro. It took me over an hour to get them all out and I went home looking like I'd been attacked with an eagle for infiltrating it's nest! 🥴😳😁

I read that the selenium sulfide in dandruff shampoo will fade color. I mix it with regular hydrogen peroxide from the chemist and it lifted my sample hair. It took a few hours, but it worked. I used a dandruff shampoo with conditioner so it wasn’t stripped. Am I comfortable doing my whole head? I don’t think so. Also the other day you said something about red dye being red. In the US we call gingers “red heads”. Like Black people call relaxers “perm”.

I think you’ll find with no H202 (Hyd Peroxide) very little would’ve happened esp in one round. From searching remove hair colour with selenium sulphide and dandruff shampoo. Key word gradual: “Selsun Blue shampoo contains sulfates and dandruff-control chemicals that can remove hair dye. In fact, one of the stated possible side effects of Selsun Blue is the discoloration of hair dyes. You can use Selsun Blue 1-2 times a week to gradually lift hair dye from your strands.”

Dear Hair Buddha, I use to dye my hair for many years now, always the same way, always the same colour, always with the same good effect. Today I also did and when |I prepared all the stuff for this process you know what I heard in my head? "Fine sections! take fine sections!" 4:48, get a bottle of hand sanitizer GEL, and magic eraser. Let the gel sit and wipe it with the eraser. Will work on sinks too, be patient it will work.

I've coloured my hands like the green lady except it was purple. I didn't realize that my gloves had holes in them and walked around with purple fingers for weeks!

When that happens, I just take a paper towel, moisten a small area with a few drops of regular laundry bleach, and it rubs right off... Just remember to rinse IMMEDIATELY because bleach is caustic if in contact with skin for any longer, and not to breathe in fumes!! And NEVER use near your eyes because that could cause blindness!!! But for stained fingers it works fine for me.
