The sewing part that you're not explaining is the part no one will give up. I love to see a video where you only talk about the sewing.
@hairbykristijennings6648 Жыл бұрын
I understand! And it’s not that I “don’t want to give it up” it’s that I literally can’t accurately film or describe it. My camera shot can’t get up close enough. You have to literally be standing directly to the side, not feet back, to see how exactly it’s done. This isn’t like foiling or a color which you can see so much clearer. Obviously I don’t mind sharing cause I love to be helpful but in the same hand I don’t say anything or do anything that I can’t give you my best. And I can’t show HERE in the best way.

I Love that you are making these videos. I am a licensed cosmetologist and have specialized in extensions for 18 years. I have no time to go and do an in person class since having 3 kids and homeschooling them all lol. I only do a few extension clients from home now but love that you have made it possible for me to try a new type of extension on my clients. Thanks girl!
I totally agree about trimming the ends. I did my own tape ins for a long time and ONCE I trimmed my hair while the extensions were out (I was just reinstalling) and I was shocked at how obvious it was . It was a terrible mistake.

I think the i-tip extensions allow the hair to be pulled into high or low ponytails. Basically the hair can move in any direction and not limited like the hand tied wefts. That's my opinion. BTW, her hair was gorgeous.
@hairbykristijennings66483 жыл бұрын

THANK YOU finally another honest hairdresser! yes when the ends are sparse like that, they do blend SO MUCH BETTER. i have this ocd pet peave thing, the sharp shelf line in some peoples hair after just getting extensions. like, why didnt you thin that out? it looks BAD. i will actually go in on my own hair with a pair of thinning sheers and take out the split ends and weight from the last half inch of my hair just so my long extensions blend better. you're going to eventually trim that little bit off anyway, why go through all the trouble and money of getting good extensions if you're not going to blend them properly? it looks very unprofessional and makes the nice extensions look fake as hell.

Thank you for sharing. At the back looks perfect! Absolutely right with no need to trim the ends. May I suggest that instead of doing a second horse shoe at the top to actually use two pieces on each side going diagonally( one end higher than the end facing the ear) in order to allow the hair to fall forwards and to give a fuller effect on the sides of the face

@@aprilcloyce7426 I would say no. If your hair is thin, They should only be doing one as it will look odd and fake and it will put too much pressure on your hair depending on how you get it put in. The amount of hair in ratio must match the amount of hair you have and scalp size

When I say you can’t see where her hair is and the extensions are, meaning there’s no shelf or heavy weight line in the hair that sometimes you see with extensions. It blends perfectly. She and I talk about the color. She likes over toning because she knows with 2 washes the over tone will fade and she’ll just be a bright blonde. Vs not being cool when she leaves and the blonde warming up too fast. It’s not madness. It’s deliberate.
