Finally someone that actually shows how to do NBR from beginning to end! Most tutorials have the stylist standing behind the client while they sew. It is like they don’t anyone to see how they attach the weft.

This is not NBR

I call it "chained beaded row" . It is extremely gentle to client's hair and very comfortable.

I've seen this called the waterfall method. but I'm afraid my hair would be too weak between the rings to hold the extensions

hi! thank you for this super clear tutorial! i am looking for a tutorial on how to move up these types of extensions. Do you have a tutorial on the move up process? thank you so much!
@VisionHairExtensions2 жыл бұрын
Hi Crystal, Personally I don't do a "move up" I just cut the thread, remove the wefts, remove the beads then reapply with fresh beads. Some methods you may be able to just squeeze the beads and slide up but with this "chained beaded row" method it would be messy. This is best for fine hair and I like to slightly relocate the rows each time for the health of the hair.

Hi Chelsea, If you watch the video starting at 9 min you will see how I end and knot the thread. I have a new video coming out in a couple of weeks that shows how to apply 3 rows of machine wefts with the beaded row method. Thanks, Lynn

I use this method and it is amazing ... I have issues with beads slipping out on a very fine haired (and a bit oily haired client) any tips?
@VisionHairExtensions3 жыл бұрын
I always use Silicone beads, make sure you put a good amount of hair in the bead. I just published a new video applying on a client that may make this more clear. Thanks for watching!

How many rows do you usually do? Two? Do you extend just one row to the sides of the head past the ears? So there is long hair in the front
@VisionHairExtensions4 жыл бұрын
Hi JoAnn, 2-3 rows is average. The top row (or top 2 rows) can go above and in front of the ears. Make sure to to apply the weft(s) 1.5"-2"above the ears.

Just wondering why clear sew thread isn't used, like a durable fishing line so it's undetectable.
@VisionHairExtensions4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Clear line could be used and it would hide really well. The problem is when you need to remove the weft the thread hides so well that it is hard to distinguish it from the clients own hair. Let me know if you try it. I would love your feedback. Thanks

starting at 6min thru 6:44 it looks like sooooo much tension on the root of your hair near the scalp. This is a lot of work. Looks like it may cause breakage. Do you have video of this being installed on a client? I've never seen this type of method before....

I just published a new video applying on a client. I don't find it to cause tension on the hair or damage. Thanks for watching!

Wouldn’t it just be easier to corn roll it straight across then sew in the extensions?
@VisionHairExtensions4 жыл бұрын
Hi Koko, A cornrow can be used too. The reason to use the beads is because they hold better on fine hair, cornrows slip out of fine hair. I also find the beaded row method not as tight as cornrows and more gentle.
@xxX-hm1vg4 жыл бұрын
painful, time consuming & requires lots of skill, i absolutely suck at corn roll braids my fingers just do not have the strength. braiding is a whole other thing lol

This looks so damaging. You can just bead the extensions without sewing the thread
@VisionHairExtensions4 жыл бұрын
I don't feel it is damaging at all. Of course you have to judge the strength of each clients hair. Some people should not have extensions because their hair is easily pulled out, which is usually a health issue.

That’s called Itip extensions this is a completely different method and more desirable when it comes to clients with thick hair or those with thin hair to wish to add volume as well length

This is not a robust system. As soon as you wet the hair it slides down. Also not good for oily scalp. G.page.needahairmakeover
@VisionHairExtensions4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply. I have not found slippage at all. Just make sure you use silicone micro rings, (silicone hold the hair), and you have a decent amount of hair in the beads. That is why I like XLarge rings. I have not found oily hair to be an issue although if the clients hair is very oily when applying I wuold wash it first
@fromamy392094 жыл бұрын
Hey there!! That’s actually not true. The beads secure everything. If done correctly there is no slipping at all. It actually is a great method. I wear it now.
@needahairmakeover4 жыл бұрын
@@fromamy39209 All hair extension techniques have premature or natural slippage. To imply there's no slippage whatsoever is not factual. I simply stated that this particular technique is not as robust.
