In this video stylist Wendy Adrian cleans up my hairdo for our travels across the California Desert 🌵 Wendy is from North Dakota and has been working as a stylist for 28 years. Hair runs in the family; Wendy’s dad is a barber and owns Gils Barber Shop in North Dakota. Wendy says hair is something she has always loved.

Located in the Southern California desert town of Joshua Tree, The Beauty Bubble Salon and Museum makes for a very fun and quirky roadside attraction NOT to be missed!
For everyone who stops by the salon, it is a very nostalgic place that reminds people of their mom or grandma. Jeff says, “Everybody has a memory attached to something in here it seems like. People are just getting the biggest kick out of it.”

My grandfather would take me twice a month to a barber and that was OUR time to spend with each other. Him passing away and me losing hair starting at age 16 I dont go as often but when I do it's like the most at peace I feel. In between i find peace watching your videos. Thank you

I actually think this is the best haircut you've had in ages!!! I love that she layered and did a textured cut on the side and back instead of the same old "clipper stripper" that all the other barbers do! The end result was a natural, relaxed look..fitting for you as you tend to just "comb your fingers through your hair and go-"... 🙂💈🙂

When I was a kid I had long hair so my mom would take me to a salon for this lady to cut my hair, I loved it. When she sprayed my hair with the water bottle and cut it with the scissors was my fav part. I WOULD ALWAYS GET CHILLS to this day.

I only had my hair shampooed/conditioned at a salon one time about 5 years ago. I’ll never forget how I nearly melted into the chair when she applied the conditioner. The scalp massage was phenomenal... this video brought back that memory... I need to find that woman again haha

@3 Knives… I remember the first female that cut my hair… i was 20 yrs old in the waiting area and the lady calls my name…She’s short gray haired chubby in a pink uniform old school beautician..and older than my grandmother and says to follow her .. my insides started to melt my heart races and my legs like spaghetti as she escorts me to the shampoo chair where I’m antsy all while she’s shampooing my hair telling me to keep my head back.. and after all that embarrassment and awkwardness being stared at.. was the best haircut I ever got. Much better than the barber
