I live in a shared living where your roommates are basically strangers. was watching a BM video out loud the other day and my roomie who I've hardly spoken to before said "omg is that Brad Mondo? the first girl toned her hair so well (even though it was so yellow to begin with!) it turned out beautiful considering she went from level 1 black hair to that! I think I'd have just dyed it a bright/pastel colour after that too! Just seems easier to stick semi permanent pink all over it than spot treat and redo roots. Too much could go wrong, semi permanent colour is safe 😂

When we say we’re toning your hair it means we’re using semi permanent color to cancel out in wanted tones in the hair and customizing the specific tone you want to see example, gold tones, copper tones, cool tones etc!

Your videos are how I got my level 1/2 waist length Virgin hair to a 9 in one session with no mess ups, banding, or patchiness. Starting with 20 and transitioning to a 30 vol as time goes on….and 20 at the roots. You are where we get the knowledge now.

Brad, you are so right. Number 2's "light silky violet" hair looked great. I would've taken the opportunity to utilize the lavender and add a root shadow with a beautiful deep purple or magenta. Maybe a little ombre moment? #1 is a well executed success.

I’m so happy that watching Brad mondo DETERRED me from bleaching my own hair the first time lmao. I went to a salon and paid way too much for a full foil with some temporary dye on my roots because I ain’t maintaining that. Then I chopped off all my hair into a pixie and a year later I decided to bleach my entire head. Now I’m OBSESSED, and my hair loves bleach, it takes 10 volume developer for my hair to go to level 10. I love that these videos are getting better though it seems like we’re all learning something on this channel lol.

I was also shooketh on that first result. I just took my daughter from like a 4ish to an 8 bordering on 9 and then toned it with a shade called Platinum Lace and it turned her this beautiful silvery blonde with no yellow to be seen and I have never been so proud of myself in my life.

They all did pretty great . The first one was far more knowledgeable and actually nailed it . Number 1 gets my vote that was not an easy task . Second girl just could have bleached the patchy areas then go in and do a root shadow with a demi darker blonde . 3rd one surprised me .. her toner saved her.. makes me want blonde again but I’m loving the natural look it’s way less maintenance 🫠🙌🏼
