I would certainly watch a video about "a week in the life of my hair". Perhaps vlog style just showing how you wash and style it, then what you do before sleep, then day 2, day 3.. etc. I love your videos and think that one would be really helpful for braidaholics like me who only wash their hair twice a week. 🥰

Tip: if you have super oily hair 🙋🏻♀️, dry shampoo as a preventative is helpful. I like Bumble & Bumble’s original Pret-a-Powder (the actual powder) for this, but whatever product works. Add after blow drying - it gives some texture and absorbs oil as you go about your day.
@asparagussauce3 жыл бұрын
seconding!! if I put dry shampoo in when my hair's first dried after washing, I use less overall, it looks less powdery, and it seems to last a bit longer. I usually need a quick top up on day 3, but only a little.

Do you have any tips for reviving hair after having it in a ponytail? I need my hair out of my face while working, but don’t want to have to rewash it to have it look good loose.
@HilBG3 жыл бұрын
I have a water sprayer, and I'll mist my hair to get rid of a ponytail bump and let it re-air dry. I don't like using a lot of heat and honestly learning to use more water in my styling has been a game changer. I literally just mist, brush through with a detangling brush, and it re-dries in formation. I don't get it sopping wet, just enough to release the crease. :)

Could you do a video of like how to blow dry your hair as a beginner? For the first time in my 30 years of life I own a hair dryer. I have a sensitivity to loud noises, so I avoided them like the plague until I realized that ear plugs can drown it out. xD But now I'm a full grown adult who doesn't have a clue how to blow dry my hair using a round brush or to really achieve anything short of a fluffy mess. You mentioned blowout techniques and I would actually LOVE a video or two that goes more in depth on blowouts. I struggle so much with smoothness when I blow dry my hair, so I really only like my hair when it's second day hair and that's about it, because I have juuuust enough oil to smooth that down naturally. My hair is also super long and thick, so I need volume from styling, and since it's processed I can't really use volumizing shampoos and conditioners, because it needs moisture rather than the opposite.

Look into all natural powder dry shampoo instead of spray ones. There are many where the ingredients aren't scary at all. In the meantime, I found that doing braids hides the oil a little better than wearing my hair down. Good luck!
