Hairstyles Inspired by Each of The Dwarves in the Hobbit

This is a more expedient sort of explanation, so if you aren't already familiar with the techniques, look them up on youtube or my other videos, where I explain things more in depth. This video is just quick because there are ten hairstyles to cover.
Here's a challenge - create a group cosplay or Halloween costume where each person if a different dwarf and uses one of these ;)
Difficulty: Easy-Hard
Hair Length: at least shoulder length
Materials: several small hair elastics, bobbypins, hair beads
Skills needed: English braid, lace braid, French braid, Dutch braid, five-strand braid
Time cost: 5-40 minutes

As our final project for drama me and my friends are making a working 6 foot tall puppet of Dain on his war pig/battle boar and we want to all be wearing dwarven braids when we present it. I am loving your videos! You have the same thickness and texture of hair as me and I've found it very helpful to watch how you create the hair styles. Hey! I love how you edited this video. It was really helpful by putting a spot in the beginning for people to click on so we can just go to THAT specific hairstyle. That was super smart because that is so frustrating when I want to copy a style, I see the time where it starts in the comments...and I SKIP IT! GAAAAAAAAH! The links in the beginning are so helpful (except, of course, they never work on a tablet.phone. Sigh. That is always sucky.) I love how you've mixed hard styles, easy styles, intricate, plain, and styles that can be used on all types of hair. I'm just starting to get the fullness back in my hair thanks to Nioxin (thank you lupus for taking that) so I'm really excited to start trying some of the longer ones when my hair starts getting fuller! I look forward to trying these out. I can see myself rocking at least a few of them as a dude. I guess all I need now is a year more of hair growth... I would give my left foot for a Jean-Luke Picard inspired braided hairdo.The resulting cosplay would be intense. I think Star Trek (and the other sci-fi futuristic space shows) would be a good mine for male braided hairstyles. Keep the men's style videos coming! Wow well where to start? I'm not even a Tolkien fan as such but you did that superbly. I have fallen in love with your hair, it's amazing! It's a gorgeous colour and you clearly look after it so well. I enjoyed learning about all the different nationalities of braids but a lady as pretty as you it was kinda weird when you were doing some of it around his 'beard' :-D You demonstrated and explained perfectly so you're not just highly talented self - hairdresser (and self hair seamstress with all that virtual 'sewing' together of the hair you did) but a brilliant explainer too. Same basic way you do a 3 strand with the over under moves. Divide hair into 5 strands, take a stand from the right and go over and under until that part is fully on the left and keep doing that until you are done. It's awkward to do yourself I find.
