@@GrowingGoodHair It is beautiful right from the rollers but it will not stay that way. Her hair will revert very quickly if left in this state. The flat iron seals in the straightness. If not straightened, her hair will be in it's beginning natural state in a few hours.

WOW this is beautiful. In the late 60’s and early 70’s all we did was magnetic rollers and the hair always came out great. I could watch you do hair all day. You are truly gifted. Great job 👏🏼

No wonder when I wash and and then roll my natural hair, I look like I belong in the 1970s. I used to think I look dated, and that straight hair is more modern, but I'm loving all the body and bounce I get from the wash and set technique.

Why people get it flat ironed after, idk! It’s always so beautiful just out of the roller set. Just hit the perimeter and roots with a little heat and I would be out the door 🚪. But beautiful job as always 👌🏾

It’s just stretched out but was more than likely slightly frizzy that you can’t see on camera and would’ve frizzed up the moment she walked outside. Most of the straightening to our hair is done during a blow dry/roller set, flat ironing is just to give a sleek finish.
