But if you take adavantage of her hayate cancel lv.1 focus attack. So much meter. They later gave this to Zangief with all the grey health absorb in sfv 😊 cause they were complaining about Makoto is now a bad matchup😊. This is why Tokido played careful in the corner cause her dp actual is a threat now. Makoto can air reset with the focus artack dive kick. If you press too fast her command grab come out. So lb on xbox later be free ex grab into ultra 1. This is also why Sakura should had abuse her charged fireball. Free juggle with counterhit.

Mike Ross and Zhi are more than familiar with this game. Commentating SF isn't like commentating hockey. You can't just... say what's happening on screen cuz it's extremely obvious and pointless. SF commentating is all about inflating the hype, and occasionally elaborating on certain scenarios that viewers may have missed in the mayhem.

Makoto has a mean offense but it feels oh-so-fragile. Things go downhill for her way too quick. At least vs. Sakura isn't an awful matchup. Sakura lacks the wakeup options to disregard Makoto's poking strengths, thankfully (which makes her the exception rather than the rule among the cast, sadly). Sakura players generally seem to have to respect Makoto, in my experience.

He hit Juso's jab. since he wanted to put Haitani in block stun, he quickly did cr.short > jab so he wouldn't escape but he ended up getting out anyway. Judo thought Haitani was only trying to get out the corner but he actually yolod and caught Juso with the medium range option part of Makoto's U2.

Still remembered when AE came out My dad ask me to switch Characters....... Makoto. Didnt know Makoto was an actual boy since she rarely gets stunned in third strike unless you use Ibuki ex neckbreaker a lot. I thought they was both boys. Focus back dash. Input dive kick while backdash. If they chase and press button Makoto will absorb again.

as a beginner/intermediate sakura player myself, this sakura player is pretty subpar... surprised he's even playing at capcom cup against haitani (a fucking amazing player). so many mixed links, so many many unnecessary fireballs, HE DOESN'T EVEN FOLLOW EX TATSU WITH OTOSI/DP/ULTRA MOST OF THE TIMES! the best part about her ex tastu is that it's a launcher... no respectable sakura player forgets to follow up ex tatsu with SOMETHING. it's basically free damage.

Thing is they were both making plenty of mistakes, Juso was eating grab mixups from Makoto and Haitani was eating cr. MK intp DP. So they were both making their share of mistakes. Haitani dished out some gigantic punishes as well. So yes, Haitani's Makoto is amazing, but give Juso some credit too.
