Springfield, I live here, the ducks and geese are disappearing. They were well fed by Springfield's children while they visit the park. The first day of school a child was killed when his bus was hit head on by an unlicensed Haitian driver last year. Much of what you hear is true. Overnight the Haitians became 25% of our population.

@@BeckyJean Whoopsy. The local police department that made the actual arrest depicted in the video has made a statement debunking the claims made surrounding it. It is an American in an unrelated situation, not a migrant, and has nothing to do with migrants. Several state officials, including the mayor, have investigated these false claims. Zero individuals have corroborated them-none whatsoever. I am sorry. This clear lie seems to have originated in a right-wing group on a story about Hattian immigrants blocking traffic and homelessness. One person shared an image from early 2024 that was not even connected to "pets being eaten" but said it was recent 2024 and said it was anyway. Again, without evidence. Another saw a dead cat that "looked like" their lost cat but didn't corroborate anything remotely close to a "pet being eaten." It was simply "said." LOL. Lastly, the person in the "meeting" showed zero evidence for his false claims, as well. Why do you believe and spread such disinformation and misinformation without a single shred of anything verified/corroborated that supports this? This is the "litter box in schools" lie all over again. Many people just can't admit they are racist, and they see a single minority, call them Haitian, which they are not, and immediately go to "they all must be doing this." They love trying to find a way to bash immigrants. If this wasn't the case, they would do at least a 5-second fact-check 1st, but NOPE. Pure and simple. It's just a bunch of nonsense and false claims that most folks have come to expect from a certain subgroup of individuals. Go figure. If I post an image of a random person holding a random animal that isn't alive, can I say they are your cousin eating my pet? Because that is about the level of truthfulness in this entire debacle. I mean, look at how far some of these lies have gone. Only ten years ago, no one would have expected you folks to immediately take these clearly outrageous claims as the truth immediately without any pushback whatsoever. It's because you already hate immigrants, so if stories match said hatred, then no critical thinking is required. I would leave supporting evidence for several sources for the abovementioned list. The fact this makes it to Springfield is an eye opener for anyone unfamiliar with the Haitian culture.
