I can't thank the team enough for what they have created in my own Gujarati language. Every single element and team member of this movie has done their best and it all culminates in this song. These damn 5 minutes!! Must be registered in the top 10 most impactful moments of all time. Such precision in acting, editing, choreography and the song. It's been a year since I experienced the force of this song for the first time and I haven't stopped watching it over and over again. Any chance I get, I recommend this film to people and they have never stopped thanking me. This was supposed to be the official Oscar entry from India!! Damn this is POWERFUL!! I just haven't been able to take my eyes off of it! Whattay culmination of the film. The best part is they didn't forget about the parallel stories! I do not have words to put my emotions into words. I have been a huge fan of Navratri and the concept of Garba overall. And I was in Bangalore when the movie released and I knew it was gonna be mind-blowing. I made my mom and Nani watch this movie and later waited for the digital release. The movie came out on MX Player and I cried, cried and cried my heart out. Even today when I am revisiting the songs, I can't help myself but burst out in tears. As many people are saying, this could be one of the most heart warming, beautiful and teary climax we would have witnessed in the history. I am so proud of my culture, traditions and the things we have in our lives being a gujrati that make us different from the rest of the world.

I will always be amazed by the fact that this craft was created by men. Like some other very few films challenging the notion of patriarchy. It's not just black n white thing, there are many layers too it. It runs psychologically and emotionally. Even if we do break the chains, we are conditioned that way that we will always doubt ourselves n perhaps despise n struggle at some level for breaking the chains. But you guys portrayed it so beautifully that it runs on many level. And to come out those chains not only patriarchy has tied us with but also the ones it has made us tie ourselves with is truly liberating. Kudos to you :)

My own dad never treated my mother right and was not that nice to me either but my both grandfathers loved their daughters. They were wonderful to their girls. Luckily my brothers also love their daughters and will do anything for them. So everyone is different. Same goes for women. I have seen women treat their own daughters horribly compare to their sons. I personally form my opinion on people depending on my experience with them.

Am a Telugu guy from Telangana , the state known for its traditions and folklore and I couldn’t relate so much with this film . I watched this movie with English subtitles and I can’t explain you how I cried at the ending. I cried a like a baby when he said “ nach reva nach “ . In the era of pseudo feminism I just want everyone to know that this is what the feminism is , this is what people have gone through for their basic rights . Those women did an amazing job and the music , cinematography and the direction is top notch ! God I want this to dubbed in all languages . Such an underrated masterpiece! Please do suggest more films like these .

The subtitles on MXPlayer kept turning on and off at will and for the most part I directly watched the movie with my cursory knowledge of Gujarati, understanding about 70% of the dialogue. But what an absolutely magnificent film. Human emotions truly cross the barrier of language in great cinema. Cried then. And overwhelmed watching this video right now.
