Comedy is best when it's relatable. The reason you guys get better reactions from Asian audiences is because it is relatable. There are percentages that come from mixed families or know someone or in some other way had contact with the personalities your humor/jokes/skits are drawn from. My mom was from Taiwan and I spent most of my life growing up in Hawaii. I find it difficult to breathe sometimes when you guys throw that one line out or describe something that hits the nail on the head. Wooden spoon beatings or "boomerang" slipper throwing or whatever it is at that moment. Relatability is the key and so you will always have that special connection with Asian audiences. This was beautiful to watch! Guys, you are both great in different ways! Nigel, I'll make sure to check out your stuff, love your slightly more biting energy. And Steven! I gotta agree with Nigel here, don't retire your dad yet! Not only because I love the character, but also because I think it is pretty multi-layered at times. E.g. it is both satire and an hommage at the same time. Your approach to the character seems to come from a place of love, and that is nice to see. And when that gets combined with other aspects such as e.g. gaming culture in the Asian Difficulty series (one of your best Yt works yet imo), then it renders great results. Also, e.g. in moments like how when your dad says "What the haail..." in an increasingly resignated manner with every new installment of the series. Idk, that just gets me 😂 Kinda lends a really humam side to this rather over the top character, and I'm here for it! Anyway, Steven, I'm proud to be a Bubble Tea Tier Patron (imagine this being said in a proud-and-slightly-entitled manner, such as some guy in an older british movie would state the name of the house of nobility that he is tangentially related to, to enjoy the full hilarity of it XD), proud to be a Bubble Tea Tier Patron, and thus help you pay off your semi-useless acting degree 😂 Which was interesting to learn details about, btw! Cheers!

As someone who's so white that 80% of their diet is cheese flavored, I will say this: 1) Our food is shit. You're right. Especially American cheese. 2) To shed some insight on the accent thing: We love it as much as you do. It's hilarious and fun, because you guys are so good at what you do. The problem is that we are raised with the fear that we are not allowed to say it out loud. Being accused of racism is basically one of the main things a white person is terrified of, so when we watch your guy's content (which is amazing, by the way), we feel like we aren't allowed to say we enjoy it, because someone is going to accuse us of being racist over it. So, don't take it personally, it's just a survival mechanism white people are taught, even if they don't have a racist bone in their body. The entire reason every other race makes fun of us for being stuck up and lacking in humor is essentially because of our own paranoia. Which, is fine because jokes about white people are also often just as funny to me, because I relate to it, and in my own comedy I lean into it the same way you guys do with your Asian stuff. It's just a weird cultural thing we do where we have to constantly be complaining about EVERYTHING because we feel like if we don't, everyone is going to point fingers at us. Which is ironic, because this complaining is what pisses people off more than anything. Even now writing this comment, there is a voice in the back of my head going, "Please don't misinterpret this as racism." So that's basically why we act like weirdos. Sorry.

See, here's the stories of the hard work behind the videos. Love it. Even more multi-cultural than I realized. I'd love to hear more of your Irish accent some day.
