As an expert of linguistics, I approve this as a model case of interlingual/intercultural communication. When one's speaking in their own native language, usually they don't realize what is actually a very complex grammar which would confuse any foreigners. At least for amateurs, by speaking in foreign languages, they can be better understood with simpler grammar and vocabulary.

@@narusaymandom1107 unfortunately after I got my degree I left the field. At first I tried getting job in translation, international cooperation, information research, etc, but the fields were too red-oceaned already.

@@narusaymandom1107 But in my case I had reasons to permanently leave my home country and work abroad (which forces me to get regular jobs instantly) so my job choices were more limited. If you are allowed to leech on your parents, national treasures, etc for more prolonged period, you have more choices like 'volunteer experiences', internships, non-permanent research projects, etc.

Hajime is very interesting to me because she CLEARLY has a very distinct way of speaking that you can tell even if you DON'T know Japanese but when she's speaking English here I can more or less understand her pretty clearly which is a big difference from when she was participating in the infamous telephone game with Bae, Kaela, Miko, Nerissa, and Kobo.
