Fun fact: The voice actor for Alfredo in this game is the same as Jotaro from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure As for Wally's Backstory: He was stranded in the jungle at a young age but he learned to adapt by living and learning with monkeys. After a while he was discovered by Hawk's coach Miguel while he was visiting the area, and was taken in as his new boxer due to his raw talent. His nickname "Last Sun" also reflects how he is Miguels last chance at having a champion due to his age. I definitely recommend reading more about him cause Wally actually fights Ricardo Martinez at some point.

Nice work with wally, alfredos gonna be more of a challenge tho, known as the "Mextli" his jab is second only to the champ ricardo himself and he fights with a similar boxer puncher style to ricardo, a ricardo Jr if you will. Now If the skill he possesses isn't enough to scare you, he has quite the temper when he starts losing that rivals sendo.

There's actually a combo for Ippo that guarantees that you land your finishing blow! This only works for ippo, and you should only do it when you have full stamina, but this is 100% true as long as you counter them or get a direct hit on your first hook: Hook three times, Body blow twice. The second body blow should flash. As soon as this happens, throw your special and they're cooked.

@@North-EZY ok wait i just noticed something about how you do damage you gotta make sure that you capitalize on pain (temporary damage) by hitting the opponent directly after the end of a combo. most often, you can accomplish this by paying attention to the opponent and throwing jabs with timing (or throwing a few to be safe.) one jab is all it takes to stop them from healing back your damage, and that makes it super easy to pressure them into a knockdown in this fight, wally's guard is pathetically bad, so all you have to do to confirm a ton of damage is to throw another punch after his guard is broken. use as much stamina as you can without breaking if you know they have a weak guard. my bad for the giant wall of text, but this should make your gameplay a lot easier if you're in trouble. i know i did when i first started!

yo! seems like you managed to defeat the last sun of indonesia! your next challenge is the mexican boxer alfredo gonzales, one huge obsticle away from the true mexican champion, his jabs are hella quick and has mean hooks so do be cautious, and also for the subday punches, i suggest to keep checking the combo menu and memorize set combos, atleast it isnt as difficult to perform like 2d fighting games, you'll learn how to use it with practice, you can do that in practice mode if you wish!

Yeah nah, that Sunday Punch skill only buffs ur Sunday Punch. Liver Blow is one of the best Sunday Punches in the game as all you need to do to use it is use 3 hooks and 2 body blows. Your Sunday Punch list is shown at the bottom of the skills list. Some SPs (Sunday Punch) allow for you to hit your Ultimate attack, called a Finishing Blow, after using the SP. Ippo's Liver Blow deals enough stun for you to freely land your Finishing Blow. If you still miss, just walk forward a bit after you land the SP.
