Basa gets unnecessary hate. It’s like chicken, if Bhetki is mutton. Yes it’s not bhetki good, but I still like Basa in Chinese dish as Chinese dishes have over powering flavours, bhetki flavours is not that pronounced.

@@adritmukherjee8654 I think it’s better to use Basa in Chinese dishes. You already have a variety of flavours in Chinese dishes, the intrinsic flavours of bhetki is lost in these dishes. I’d say bhetki in something like fish fry or pathuri, or Thai dishes makes much more sense. Also, Basa is not even that cheap.
