Since I belong to the modern era, I really understand how difficult it is to register a point on electronic armors, causing fighters to control their kicks, reducing their speed and power. I've been searching for young and known athletes who competed in 2008 Beijing and honestly, Those athletes that still exist today are countable with my ten fingers. But we can't blame the fighters themselves, they trained for so many years being engaged in flashy and powerful kicks and these electronic armors ruined their fighting style. No wonder so many athletes that came from nowhere have competed in 2012 and 2016 Olympics. I really hope that WTF would come up to a solution for this. I think requiring more power in order to score on these armors could make a difference. I'm looking forward for better changes, Goodluck WTF!

ahmad abu ghaush is a player who played before the sensors, Lee dae hoon another one, they are controlled players too, how come they are in the top 5 rankings. electronic armors did NOT ruin taekwondo at all. You are just paranoid about the fact you are dont want to train flexibility nor do you want to train to control your kicks midst air. welcome to the best generation taekwondo has ever known. if you dont like it dont do taekwondo then.

old style - spinning kicks spam Taekwondo practitioners got their ass kicked by lead leg controlling practitioners almost everytime. These modern Taekwondo kickers are better at flexibility, balance, distance management, etc.

@@HeHe-zz8qf Asses kicked? How? By sticking their toes against their asses? Yes, they did defeat some of the old, close-to-retirement fighters because of the restrictions of the modern rule. Try asking these front leg spammers to fight under old rules, where fighting is realistic and the weaker your kicks are, the harder to earn a point. Let's see who's beating who then. Btw, I was just saying in my previous comment that we should seek for more improvement and I don't get why you took it negatively. You can be good at power, flexibility and distance management ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Now tell me, is it a bad thing? Or you're just afraid to get knocked out? Too bad for you, olympic rules will change dramatically soon. Try searching up "2020 armors", once it's implemented, you're doomed. Let's see who will have the last laugh 🤣.

@@zilyx5448 "YoU NeEd to CoNtRol KiCkS iN MiD Air" LOL! correction, tho. this is the worst era of taekwondo, and you actually ignoring that fact makes us even more laughable. I'm only saying this because I loved taekwondo all my life and we became a laughing stock after maintaining that good reputation of ours for decades. And 'bout my flexibility? Lol how bold of you to assume that I wasn't training well. I mastered splits long before these sensors were implemented in the olympics. Yes I do know that ghaush and dae hoon were players before the front leg era. That's why they never won any Olympic medal before the 2012 London Olympics 🤣. Haven't you noticed that they keep on changing the rules despite your seemingly flawless, electronic armors? BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT TKD IS FCKED UP! Now that the system is messed up, messed up fighters start dominating as well. Try searching up 'bout 2020 armors. Let's see who will have the last laugh then.🤣

@@abdulmuhammadabdallah2461 footwork, angle change, distance management are keys of striking. You want to hit hard, knock out??? Even in boxing, muay thai, MMA, so many matches end up via scorecard decision. Taekwondo is popular now because it contains keys of martial art and does not make people get hurt while experiencing it
