In my opinion Shaq was the most dominant. As far as all around talent there's a few centres that can be #1. Tim Duncan (played C last 10 seasons), Bill Russell, Patrick Ewing, David Robinson and Hakeem. My top 3 in order is Shaq, Duncan, Bill Russell. #4 David Robinson and #5 Hakeem. My honorable mentions are Dirk (played 3 seasons as a centre on paper) Jokic (hes just warming up) and Kareem.

Hakeem’s ability to control games offensively and defensively was so beyond amazing for a 2 year stretch, it just sucks it didn’t happen against MJ. If the Knicks and Pacers could take them to 7, I believe the Rockets could beat them easily. We’ll never know… I mean he did sweep the team that knocked MJ out of the playoffs

Not a two year stretch, he dominated from 88'-95' avg 24p, 12r, 3a, 1.8s, 3.9b on 50% FG! Olajuwon is the definition of the phrase, teams win championships!

@@hakeemolajuwon4352 this comment right here >> people are quick to discount Olajuwon in top center debates solely because less accolades. Kareem in the 1980 Finals was Hurt after game 5.
