I like Hakim very much but I can see why he struggles to get minutes. His body language appears as too cool for school and that can be misconstrued as being attitudie. I myself am like that too and I relate to that. At the end of the day, there are more important things in life than being too eager and competitive.

Passing is where the game is at these days, and Hakim is the only player at Chelsea with that quality. Although he doesn't have the pace, he is starting to play smart. With Mudryk on the left wing, Hakim needs to play v liverpool. He's on the up and up. Imagine him passing to Mudryk with long balls. When your team is at a weak stage, keep it simple and make use of what you've got. That is what Man utd did.

He always does well. Just never gets the amount of minutes to influence the game. People forgetting that if you combine the number of minutes Hazard spent on his dribbles and passes it would probably add to a total of 20 mins of the game. So for 70 mins he was a passenger but he gave us 20 mins of brilliance. Ziyech is essentially the same. You might get frustrated for 70 minutes. But the 20 mins of sheer quality he gives makes up for it. He is the best passer of the ball by a mile at the club. His finishing is no worse than the rest despite people trying to say he's bad. He's like top 3 dribblers at the club with Kova. Tracks back a lot despite people saying he doesn't. I really don't understand the vendetta against him. It reminds me of how United fans treated Pogba even though he was their best player in that period they had him.

Knowing Hakim Ziyech from playing when he just began at Heereveen in Holland, then at FC Twente where he solely prevented FC Twente from being demoted to the second league. When he was at FC Twente , I could not believe that clubs like PSV , Ajax and Feyenoord were not trying to buy him. And then of course at Ajax ,who bought him at just before the transfer deadline, where he flourished for 4 seasons consistently each year with goals and assists. From what I know, Ziyech is a type of player that gets better IF he plays consistently. That is how he always has been. I understand that the premier league is top league and many of the top teams shift a lot , and the pressure is much higher. But , he is really a type of player then needs to play consistently and also on his favourite position, and you will reap the rewards.
